What would you do ?

What would you do?


1. You and 4 other coworkers order out for lunch. no one noticed but when it's time to pay 1 of the coworkers say ummm I changed my mind about the food and does not pay.

what would you do?????



2. What would you do if you bring your lunch to work everyday and you suspect the same coworker is eating your lunch ?
 
1. Personal conviction. You could call them out on it if you're bold enough. If you're not bold enough then don't worry. Though i don't know exactly what it means by 'changed their mind about the food'. Did the fight the bill? Or just sneak out and not pay? If they are sneaking out without paying i'd make a point to say something as you don't want to be in trouble for their actions.

2. You really want to make them pay, and find out for sure who it is, get a ghost pepper. Chop it down so its not visible if they look bury it in the sandwich or whatever. The intense burn will cause them to make a scene and hurt for the next hour or more. There will be no way they can hide the effects.
 
Probably pay for it.

Assuming I understand the situation correctly.
 
1. Pay it with the remaining two persons or pay it myself and avoid eating lunch again with the person who refused to pay for himself.

2. I would do what I could to find out if my suspicion was correct, and, if so, somehow confront the person with it.
 
1: Pay for it and move on.
2: Privately talk to them about it. Try to find out why. Who knows, maybe their in Financial trouble and doesn't have enough to eat. There could be a lot reasons why. If that is the case, I might just pack 2 lunch's, or add extra to the one.

question one if the person just refuse to pay i would ask the others to chip in but would not have lunch with that person again

question two if i was 100% sure it was the peron then i would ask why or if they needed some occasional help with lunch
* i know of someone whose office went through this and she would get the cups of soup or ramen type noodles and leave them in the lunch room and it worked plus the person was aware everyone knew who was doing it

1) Tell the tight sod to get their wallet out and pay what they owe! 2) Strongly urge them to stop it, or you will hit them a hard smack in the chops!

Thanks for your response i have the feeling with answer 2 (OUCH!!) they would probably start buying lunch for you
 
I'm not saying you SHOULD do this,
I'm just offering it as a possible solution.

If you were to say, accidentally put a lot of Ex Lax in your lunch... in a sandwich, or pastry, or whatever...
it wouldn't take long to figure out who the lunch thief was.

And they probably wouldn't do it again.


You could think of it as giving them a spiritual cleansing.

1. Tell him/her to pay for what he/she ordered and not to order without paying upfront from then on.

2. Put some exlax in the food and wait until the thief reveals him/her self by the amount of restroom trips taken.

i'm pretty sure after eating exlax it wouldn't be hard to figure out.especially if you accidentally lock the doors to the restroom:D
