What's the main thing that you're feeling just before you look at porn?
I'm just curious if it something like bordom or lonely or something else. Really I'm just curious if being lonely is the main reason people look at porn.
 
Or when you used to look at it.

Basically, I'm trying to find the main reason that Christian look. Mostly I'm curious if loneliness is the main source.
 
Lonely, bored, depressed or things of a similar nature. Sends out endorphins to cause the "happy" feeling, which be no means negates that fact that I believe it is wrong. I hate feeling conviction, and I'm trying hard to stop but WOW it's hard to...
 
I'd add stress to the above. Also just straight forward force of habit.
 
Additionally, if there's a site that one frequents, it can be difficult not to check it regularly for updates. Almost like a fear of missing out on some really good stuff, which reinforces the habit.
 
For me it was loneliness and wanted to feel like someone liked me. I got really addicted to it after my Dad left and I would use to when I was down to feel better. I knew that it was wrong so when I would try to stop, I got more and more into self harm. I haven't touched porn or any kind of sexual immorality in absolutely ages! It required a LOT of self disciplin to stop but the only way I was able to stop was to grow closer to God in my relationship with him. I would also pray daily for God to transform me to love what he loves and hate what he hates. Now just the idea of looking up porn or anyone looking at porn for that matter makes me sick to my stomach.
Satan feeds the mind, but the holy spirit feeds the heart...Guard it!
