I love rich mullins' music and the guy's heart was after God, but this song is BEST, I think, sung by Amy. Part of my reasoning for that is when I was 15 I was struggling with what to do in life, parents fighting, and, went to friend's house and they had a record player (yeah, I'm THAT old :) ) and they played an Amy grants greatest hits, including this song, and, my friend, whose house I was at , had us all after dinner dancing and I was dancing around with him and his sisters and it was just one of THOSE moments where God talked to me . He was there in the midst of my life that was really in arrears at this time, with parents fighting and stuff going on, beyond my control. So, never forget, rejoice always and again I say rejoice :)

I hope this is OK to say, I don't want to get in trouble with ugly or anyone, I just felt led to mention this.

Sing, sing, sing..... :)

I like this song, Green. I was just a kid, but it was one of my favorites to sing at church. :) I like some of Amy's new stuff too.

Yes, julieannie, that is a wonderful message for all, sometimes, hearing the suffering cry is better than a halelujah, good story, good selection, Amy is right up there for me with MW and, of course, this guy, whom I, truly, was beginning to appreciate his music and, SUDDENLY, God took him. I was listening on my radio, in 1996, very blessed at this time, so into God, He was really working on me, showing me things, refining me, forgiving me, loving me. And, this sudden death of a 'friend' in all this good 'God time' made me realize that life could be very short. And, I am not sure it's where I got 'The Lord leads' from, I don't think so, but I don't remember where of anytime specific either.
But, certainly, this song could have inspired that saying. :)
