Just keep in mind that I know I will fall, I know I will fall hard. But, when I fall, I can just look up. And I know it sounds so cliche, but when you finally realize it is true, that will bring SO much joy to you. Also keep in mind that envying is a sin. The other thing is, I have no idea what God has planned for me! That's the fun of it!!! It could be ANYTHING! I am SO excited just to see what God has planned for my life, it's a joy to wake up every morning.

Worldy: get either an aprenticship in cooking (so i can get in a good kitchen) hope to eventualy become a chef and own a resturant or take a media class (for photography, also for other things like film and such) so i can take some decent pics (or ill try to do both :D).

but my main ambition in life is to live up to jesus's standards, worship and praise the lord, and follow his word. and through God i will be able to do my ambitions(on top) but who knows mayb he'll take me on another route.
 
i feel the same way bro, for i am so pashionate about marine biology but i am keeping God 1st, so if he wants me to do something else, so be it. :)
 
My goal is to do all I can for God.I want to be in His perfect will cause I believe when I die before they let me past those pearly gates, God's ganna have a tv screen and replay all those times I could have witnessed to somebody or prayed for someone and helped them be saved.He will forget that, and so will I as soon as walk into Heaven but I don't want that to be a long show, & those minutes of watching that will be horrible.I have the TRUTH in Him and it's my job to share it and spread His Word.I don't want to be an INVISIBLE Christian!of course I have another silly desires like bungee jumping, Europe, meeting the right GODLY guy that God made for me.But If I achieve nothing else than witnessing to one soul and seeing them saved than I'll surely die a happy woman.

DUDE! Heck yeah! I plan to go off to a PAOC bible college and become a youth pastor with the PAOC. Pentecostal is great, as long as we remember that God isn't just a feeling. God Bless you bro.

Besides "Glorify God and enjoy Him forever"....
My goal/dream in life is to work in some way in the film industry. I'm talking about Hollywood! If that doesn't work - possibly the head of a big film studio. I am willing to work in any facility - although my preference would be Director of Photography (DoP). Second to that, I'd like to be a producer. I want to be able to take the ideas I have in my mind and show them to the world! Hah

I do believe in the babtism of the Holy Spirit. I can yes. Don't worry about it though, God will come through when he sees fit.
 
My only goal in life besides loving and caring for my husband and children, is to live my life in such a way that when I come to the end of it and I am at the feet of God, he can say "Well done thou good and faithful servant." I want to have a servants heart. I want my goal to be that my life is lived the way God wanted it to be lived.

Yes just keep faith and keep worshiping and praising the one true living God, and keep seeking The Holy Ghost...

wow thanks so much everyone for sharing your life goals, and thanks for the two that gave me advice when i needed it. i actualy cry at times thats how bad i wanna speak in tongues. :(

I understand that you want to be able to, but I found that God wanted me closer to Him before I could. Instead of wanting to speak in tongues so bad. Try wanting to get closer to God then you have ever been. That sounds like a good place to start :)
 
To Be close to God & be closer to him the more i get older, Especially to spread the word to others about God.

Be careful when what you want is spiritual gifts. Speaking in tongues is not for everyone its also a gift that kinda went out with the apostles. Its one of the least of the spiritual gifts Paul said, for it uplifts noone else because unless there is someone to decipher noone knows what you are saying. You sound like you are very obsessed with this gift, which can be a bad thing because the devil can give you just what you think you need and use it to destroy you. Be happy with you for you are special to God even without this gift. I will pray for you brother.

I agree, except for your statement that it went out with the apostles. I would gladly testify against that statement.
 
i dont care if it makes me look like a fool in front of the world. i believe that is a wonderful gift, and if i get it, i will use it where ever and when ever, thats if i get it. and thanks, i should try to get closer to god. but idk how. do i just read the bible every day and talk to him? i feel like something is still missing. :(
