All the ppl is different, we have different personalities, different habilities, different ways of talking and many other things. We were made by God to use us in special ways as a body in Christ.

So i was thinking that we all have different "styles" to talk about Jesus to ppl who dont know God yet.

do you talk to them ? do you argue with them ? do you help them ? do you prefer to show who God is by loving them? do you tell them your testimony?

Whats your "style" to share the gospel?

I think it changes depending on the person....but I try to do the more I can, share my testimony if the occasion is given, or just talk to them about Jesus....sometimes they would be the ones starting the questions, and sometimes I would just offer my help if I see they are in need. Showing love to them I think is a MUST, not an option, it's part of the full testimony : speaking it and living it.

It depends, diff styles for diff folks and diff needs. My parents are a firm believer of living as an example as the best way to share the gospel, its not just what we say that matters but how we live our life is the best testimony to others. I personally, try to listen to other people, have a sit down with them, just to ask them how they are, it makes it easier to determine their need, and with every need, God is the only one that is able and capable to fully fulfill that need (that's when I share how God has been in my life)

Most important for me is being a vessel , not worrying about changing their heart . The Lord leads, everything I say in those important sitúations is prayed on as best I can think to be praying as I am speaking. I want to sometímes save people soo bad when I then realize-sometimes through 'losing' someone because my pride takes over---that it is the Holy Spirit who not only convicts the seeker's heart to really give 'God' a hard look but the Holy Spirit who wants soo bad to have me listen as He speaks through me. :)

Evangelyzing is sooo much less pressured too , such less daunting (not daunting at all) IF I just scrap my agenda and do God's working through me, it is soo easy, not to mention, biblically right, to do things so God gets ALL the glory through my speaking the words He wants to say through His Holy Spirit inside my temple. :)

I didn't answer those questions of 'argue' or 'style' or anything else very well, lizzietheone , because I don't want it being my style, and, arguing with someone seeking does not seem right,
To me, not right, but, again, I don't want it about me. Everything in our lives should be about Him :)

I tend not to talk about it with people that don't ask, or I don't know are already spiritual in some way.

But most of my friends, or people that know me tend to ask me.

But, I am not a "Christian" by most people's standard. Even though a lot of my friends went to being Christians after talking with me.

Well first I get prepared: I goto Hastenings or another book store purchase a small package of bible verse's for $2.99 witness gear in the christian section. Then I lay my hands on the cards I pray.

Then I walk around town and ask people:" Do you believe in Jesus?" Some say yes, some say no here in Spokane I would say 8 out of town 10 say yes.
Regardless of their answer I ask "Would you like a bible verse to carry around with you?" some say Yes, some say No most say Yes. Then I go on my way, unless they wanna talk more about anything what so ever.

This is a good non offensive way to evangelize and edify the Body of Christ. Praise Jesus

By living it 24/7 through Christ. No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care. Once people know you have a genuine interest in them/what's going on in their lives and that you are the real deal and it's not just talk, they are more willing to listen. This doesn't mean we don't fail at times. It just means we confess it and get back on the road with Christ.

Excellent approach, julieannie :)

When we just keep quiet and listen and let the Lord speak through us by using His Holy Spirit inside us, then it is AMAZING what God can do through us. Being a willing vessel means sooo much, God can use us IF we are really willing and being really willing means we let Him lead, we follow His lead :)
