Are there any passages in our bible that say or indicate that demons do or do not do as they're told ?

When the bible indicates that demons are doing as they're told by God, is it the case that is a lie ? For many reasons, i would ask these questions.

Personally speaking here i think we should look at demons as cherubim. Personally i feel the word demon derives from acting in a demonic way. Which cherubim have been known to do.
