Sometimes God will lay on our heart to do a real big task for him. This task may be a task that requires a lot of money. And you will do everything you can to raise the money. You may have yard sales, bake sales, and car washes. But let say that after we do everything what we know to do, we still come up financially short. What do we do? That is when we began to pray to God to provide the rest of the money.
When God gives us a task to do, He expects us to do what we can. God will do the rest of what we can't do. And by the way, God will do the majority of the task that He asks us to do for Him in the first place. That way the glory will be towards God and not us!

God doesn't ask anything us, but that He provides the full empowering to do so by the indwelling presence of the Spirit of Christ.
