You kind of have this backwards. The Nazis, just as ISIS and all such regimes over all time, were a manifestation of the evil powers and principalities that rule this world. It's like one gopher who pops up in different lawns... all them gopher holes are the result of one gopher. Likewise, all these evil regimes are the result of one evil power.

That's why, even if we were to actually wage war like we intended to win it, we still won't succeed. We could turn the whole mid-east to glass and you know what? That evil power will just find another set of humans to do its bidding. There are no man made weapons that can fight this regime.

Comparing ISIS to the Nazis is not even a close comparison, as the Nazis had a strong army with military weapons. And ISIS dose not have the same military weapon capability, but has a way more bigger army on the ground as it could easily fend 200 million soldiers. Revelation 9 ring a bell !!!
The other thing I would mention is what they do is bad, but a Christians thought process should never be a put to death first mentality. Christians are told be the Lord to have love for all, including enemies. And love does not have a kill first approach. If we go in with an approach of defensive stance, and not kill first stance, then that is the proper way.
And please I would ask to those who want to keep bringing it up, leave the Democratic and Republican debate out of it. Because not all Democrats believe that way, and I also know some Republicans that do. Plus there has been just as many republicans who have been caught in dirty tactics just as there has been democrats.

So someone who can go on a mass of murdering/raping others until they're brought down should just be locked up while our taxes go to them to stay in the cell for a good 60-80 years? Then if they get released (assuming this would happen and they're still alive), they can go and continue to do the same acts as they had before, possibly worse?

In the OT the death penalty has been supported, but just because the NT shows less and that Jesus let a prostitute walk does not mean that we should avoid the death penalty all together. Groups like ISIS pretty much have people given life missions to kill those who don't go with their agenda in any way, including their own if they don't obey. What makes you think that by having them locked up for a good amount of years while we're making a living for them to do so is going to do any good? We are supposed to go with what the government and law see best fit (even though it's not all of a fair one).

I used to not support the death penalty, and while it shouldn't be taken lightly it should be taken for when it's absolutely necessary of a person posing as a major threat to those around them (especially after committing a massive crime in the past). It's like letting a rabid junkyard dog into a home with infants after leaving it locked up for a good amount of time and expect the dog not to do harm because 'they were given a second chance'.

When the book calls the executor of a violent act 'holy', or outrightly commands (thus condones) those violent acts, then that book is a book which condones violence and immorality in various forms. Immorality and indirect instigation of violence, at least in such an instance as contextual to this conversation, is outrightly condoned -- even appraised -- in the bible.

Your link is to a CNN story that says one thing in its headline, and something quite different in the body of the story. In short, it lies.

Despite the wording in the headline, the reader will see upon going through the story that Fox made no apologies for any inaccurate comments or reports it or it's reporters voiced regarding Muslims. It did apologize for one non-staff guest who exaggerated in labeling Birmingham, England "totally Muslim" -- it is 22% Islamic, according to UK census info. Fox did apologize for a slightly misdrawing a map of seven "no-go" zones in France -- and that affected only one of those zones, and only by a couple city blocks.

Fox did not retract information regarding the isolation of the no-go or the fact that police officers do not go into those neighborhoods. In fact, multiple news organization have supported those statements as fact in the week and a half since the Charlie Hebdo attack, the slaying of an unarmed traffic officer, and murder of four innocent French Jews in a deli -- all the work of Islamic terrorists in Paris.

So, one must ask, any particular reason CNN chose to attempt to discredit Fox when it had no grounds to do so? Better yet, why would you listen to, watch, or read CNN knowing they were complicit in that effort? And why should we pay any attention to anything you post in the future, knowing you were more than happy to spread CNN's lies?

I went on a date tonight with a woman who ordinarily lives in Birmingham. We got on to the topic of philosophy, a shared interest, and I asked her what she thought of organized religion. After a few carefully considered words on her disagreement with the dogmatic nature of various fundamentalist Islamic and Christian practices, she said something profoundly intelligent, in my eyes. She said ''but the dogmatism of secularism can be just as ignorant'', and went on to ask me ''Have you heard about what Fox news are saying about Birmingham?'' Then the two of us shared a belly laugh.

Birmingham is about as ''Sharia no-go'' as Liverpool is. That is, not at all.

As for Paris and London, one of the city's mayors, Mayor Hidalgo of Paris, has gained huge support for her campaign to sue Fox News over clearly false information regarding the city. As Fox Anchor Julie Banderas said, ''No formal designation of these [no go] zones exists in either country, and neither is there any credible information to support the assertion that there are specific areas in these countries that exclude individuals based solely on their religion''.

Steven Emerson, self proclaimed expert on terrorism, told FOx a religious police beat up anyone non-Muslim who doesn't dress in Muslim clothes in London. I've been to London several times this year, and never seen nor heard of this. Not on one news channel, nor has one shred of credible evidence been presented me (or anyone else for that matter) to verify this. Go to London, and you'll see for yourself that it's nonsense. The mockings on twitter, the rebuttal by Prime Minister David Cameron and the harsh jeers from a plethora of Londoners online ought to let you realize it's utter drivel.

The only reason this ''no-go'' nonsense holds any water across the pond is because you, and a lot of conservatives who've never been to London or Paris, want it to be true.

Not having visited Paris, Birmingham, or London recently, I can't say personally what the situation is. But I do know that one such attack (London) can lead to the exaggeration that all are likewise attacked. I don't doubt that maybe Paris Police chose not to respond into an area, but whether they do so as a matter of regular practice probably not. But then again, I'm not in Paris so I don't know one way or another. And I don't trust the media to give me the whole story on it.
