Where are the REAL men of God?

Where are all the real men of God? Men who stand up and are not ashamed to proclaim Jesus Christ above all us. Men who understand the call of God on their lives and choose to pursue that call no matter the cost. Men who know that being a man is so much more than gender and rights but headship and sonship before the King of Kings. Men who understand the meaning of marriage and see it as a holy covenant and not a dictatorship. Men who daily allow God to wreck their lives and schedules to teach them His principles. Men who understand the delicacy of a woman's heart and strive to never lead that heart on or exploit it. Men who understand that it's their God given right to lead their marriages and households and do not take that lightly. Men who see women as daughters of the King and treat them as such. Men who fight for what is right and stand up for what they believe is right even when there is none to stand with them. Men who will not *allow the enemy any ground in their lives. Men who stand up for purity and holiness in every aspect of their lives. Men who above all else want more of God and never relent in their pursuit of all He has to offer. Men who never give up or back down. Men who put priorities on fulfilling the role God has given them in the relationships they have and never grow tried in doing that. Men who understand that until they take their place we as woman can not take ours. Men who understand that we as woman are looking for someone who can not just keep up with us but lead us to fulfill the purposes of God in our lives. Men who understand that they should love us as woman, as Christ loved the church and would do anything for her that she in turn will respect him as a man and do anything for him.*
 
We exist, but it's a journey.

I can confidently say I try to be that man, and have my victories and failures both...and often.

All the same, we can be anything only by the Grace and Power of God at work in us.

It's long, often difficult and messy, but then...so is life.

The thing is, I wouldn't say not to set the bar high, because Jesus is our goal, but remember...all the saints, disciples, and heroes we admire, rarely if ever...started that way. It's at the end of their story we look back and see the brightly burning flame.
 
Laying low in the grass, waiting for the time to strike... Hidden in the shadows... The trees... Oh yes, we're watching you... And we like what we see... xD

That man you speak of does not exist unless he is willing to confess his own sinful life, when he did not stand up for truth, when he did not love his brother, when greed overtook him and sin held him hostage. You are looking for someone to rule over, your own words show the contempt of the world.
 
Take off running twords God... if a man comes along side of you and can run as fast as you... take notice of him.
 
Thanks everybody for your insight and thoughts, I'm not looking for a man for myself, I just want to see a shift in the body. I went to see men like this step up like never before.

So, am I supposed to just sit back now allyally and not say much or...be a real man and let you know WHY these things you say of men are EQUALLY true needed of women . For it takes two to argue, two to communicate, even TWO to sigh, and, surely I will hear the berries (remember, berries are'spose to be sweet, juicy, good ;) ) for saying this, TWO to divorce.

Ok, that all said, to allyally and everyone else out there THINKING men are nowhere to be found like you thus described, let me say this: You MUST become trailing after God's own heart and you can be sure you will find that man you so desire.

So, by making a great speech, allyally, and, truth be told, it was a great, dynamically inspired speech, perhaps God inspired (breathed), I don't judge . But what I will do is say this, and, Fireinside horsed his tbougts very well, YOU, allyally, MUST become wholly owned inside of you by Hd and you can bet your bottom dollar the sun if your wishes will come true. :)

Come true tomorrow? Hwy, prob not. Come true next week? Nah, probably not. It will probably take TIME for you to BE READY for the man of your I-have-a-dream dreams, so to speak. You probably will need to be like, hmm , I need a parallel?? Come on , green brains, don't get stringy on me now :D ok, an example , how about , with me, allyally? , let's go back to Christmas time and how about Frosty The Snowman .

Greeen! Frosty The Snowman. That's got zero God message in it. Why not Charlie Brown's X-mad, it's got Christ child message in it or I don't know anything but Frosty Happy-face !

Ok, sorry, just PREACHING now, a little fire and brimstone, but, uh, yeah, Frosty, and, there is the point in that cartoon where what happens to Frosty as he goes into the greenhouse to get the shivering little girl, Wendy, out of the cold? The magician does what?

So Frosty melts....dies. ok, so Santa comes along and Frosty is brought back to life and the magician is told by Santa he will get NO new magic tricks because of his cruel act. But the magician makes a promise
to WORK hard the whole next year and Santa says that if magician be ye he READY then he will get new magic tricks from Santa.

Ok, green, I understand, I think, you want me to work on myself as God wants (not Santa :D ) and THEN I will BE READY for the kind of man that allyally describes?

Yes ! And God be with me as I will not write so madly unless the Lord is leading me and all this said with nary a verse but 3 VERSES to end. Having faith refers often to healing, most often, but having faith in God can lead tonother things too, like ....

Ah, grasshoppers, now a verse from Hebrews, actually two verses: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen . You must have faith for ALL things, of course, to believe the word of God (Hebrews 11:3) and, yes, believing in God for your mate which will COME ONLY WHEN YOU ARE READY :)

And, my last verse is just plain delightful, go ahead right now and get out your bible and read Psalms 37:4.

God bless you in your search for Him (God) , that will find you, and, consequently, as the Lord leads in His timing, him (your mate) . :)
 
I'd say there in hiding with the women of the same nature. o.o oooo burnnnnn. hehe.
 
In Iran there is a Pastor set to be Executed for his unwavering Belief in our Lord Jesus. He sets the example in modern times..how many of us have shrunk back from evengelizing because of embarasment. Here is a man who is facing death rather than renounce his faith. Where are such men? Here is one. My question is why aren't the rest of us so strong as to see his example and not the Pastor, who I have prayed for with tears in my eyes, but Christ's example. People see me reading a bible and some have asked me and I answer. I know that I am one who believes and I have sinned. I know that I am stronger with Christ than I could ever be with sin. I heard a voice saying pray not for the Pastor, on his left and right are Angels, pray for those who know not the word of God. Our fight is in the realms of the Super natural, and for that fight we must be strong enough to carry our own cross up a hill. Just a thought....

Sometimes...ya gotta take 'em as they are, and pray for God to mold them into REAL men (or women) of God.

...though I don't recommend it. It can take an awfully long time.

Q: Where are the REAL men of God?

A: They are everywhere you meet them everyday....

But are they meant for you ? :D keep smiling :D
 
I doubt if there is any one man who will encompass all you say, there will be men with some of the qualities but not all. It would really be the ideal case if there was one with all you say...But then again would his partner recognize the good in him. I am looking for that person now myself and its not been easy. I ve just spent about two years trying to mold someone who i saw some good in, with very Godly qualities or so I thought, only to find out 2 months ago he is gay! Its devastated me..so you see we can try to see God in men, but in his case I think he was a true devil.
 
I think that was the perfect way to describe the perfect man of God and I am definitely asking the same question but I believe they're around. I don't know where but i know they're somewhere and they'll find the women who they're supposed to be with at the right time.

This man is the ideal, but does not exsist, because you just described the perfect man.

I wouldnt mind someone who strives towards some of these, but i wouldn't someone with all of these qualities because i would look so flawed in comparison.
