yep. garments are symbolic for the fleshly body and Jesus is our High Priest who offered a more pure sacrifice of His blood.

I guess before you will accept that we will have to establish that garment is symbolic...

you can see that Zechariah 3 talks about both JESUS and garments...

in the same way when God's people appear before God they will be clothed in rich robes but to the world they may still appear to be in filthy rags.

Just as to the world Jesus appeared to be a suffering Servant but to God He was always the Messiah, the King.

He came to the world clothed in sinful flesh and rose in a NEW body and ascended to Heaven.

Actually the church is that temple, and it is alive today, built on the foundation of Christ, the cornerstone.. Thus this is not a temple in heaven, it is alive today.

where does it say they are to BUILD the temple?
