As far as the first time the crucifixion is mentioned in the Bible. I think that depends on what you believe the oldest book of the Bible to be and not the order of the modern day Bible.

We must remember that the Pentateuch are not the 5 oldest books in the Bible...Job is known to be the oldest book in the Bible and would be second if we were to chronologically list the books as far as history....

Under this scenario there might be a case for Job 19.25-29




A couple of things on Gen 3.15....

First, If Jesus' feet had a spike driven through the instep of the foot, it would have broke a bone and the Psalmist said he keeps all his bones in Psalm 34.20. The method of Crucifixion has been debated, but recently found historical records and archaeological discoveries have proven that the Romans placed a persons feet on the sides of a square based cross and not overlapping in the front. They then drove the spike behind the ankle bone on each foot. There was no way a bone could be broken doing it in this manner.

Second,
Golgotha is where the Jesus was placed on the cross and it does not mean place of the Skull, it is properly translated in the Greek as place of A skull. The mountain actually resembles a skull.

So when Jesus was raised up on the cross, his literal bruised heel was bruising a skull...




Interesting side note but not Biblically founded:
Present day Messianic Jewish Rabbi's who know the oral tradition state there is a old oral tradition from the time of David, when he killed Goliath and that oral tradition says he buried the head of Goliath in a mountain, whose outward appearance looked like a skull. The oral tradition further states that Goliath was viewed as being the devil on earth at this time in history.
They suggest this because if Goliath had killed David, Messiah would have never been born. The oral tradition also states that gulgoleth-the Aramaic word for Golgotha, means the place of Goliath's skull.

There are no real grounds on which we can date the Book of Job. It is pure speculation. Its presence in the Hagiographa point to a later date, for the Book (as opposed to what lay behind it).

The records behind Genesis point to it as being almost certainly the oldest.

It is easily attainable, look at when Job walked the earth, the Bible tells us this, then look at Abraham...Moses was not even born at the time of Job and Abraham....the Bible shows you this clearly....so how could a book written by someone not born yet, be the oldest book?

I have met at least one person here who believes his thinking on this matter above what the revealed written Word of God actually says regarding no bones being broken... for he insists that Jesus' bones were broken. Of course he rejects much else in Scripture also, including Who Jesus really is, so it should not surprise me

How could Job be the oldest book in the Bible when the ability to write the written word was not given unto man until after the Exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt. As you stated, it is written that Job himself stated "Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!" is indicative of the writings originating after the Exodus especially considering that the OP uses refers unto the beast that was formed from the dry ground in whose nostrils was placed the breath of life as Satan.

The Bible is clear that everything is about Jesus.

The picture of the crucifixion was there from the first word in the Bible:

Bereshit בראשית In the beginning

Bereshit is the first word in the Torah and in our Bibles it is In the beginning. A word study of Bereshit actually makes it clear that the plan was always in motion for Jesus to die for our sins:


ב beyt – house/home
ר resh – head / head of
א aleph - all power / all strength
ש shin – divine protection / all-consuming fire
י yud – hand
ת tav – sign of a cross

If you now identify the words in the word Bereshit you get:

בר bar - translated in Daniel 3-25 as Son
ברא berah - means to create, form or shape (2nd word in the Torah)
שי shayee - translated in Psalm 68-29 as presents / gifts
שית sheet - translated in Genesis 4-25 as appoint

So the picture in the first word of the Bible: “Elohim will build/create (berah) a house, He will appoint his son as the head of the house. He will have all power/ all strength is in his hands for divine protection. He will be an all-consuming fire / gift and his sign will be a cross.”
