True my apology Tintin was a bad response.

If I have come across to you as a dictator here that is not my intention. What I have seen so many times in chat sites like this is there are so many opinions and rather then adding any helpful information if someone disagrees they tend to take personal jabs at the offender and all that does is cause more division.

It is okay. We are all at different places in our journey.

Thank you all for your thoughts and scripture. What my intent here was merely to suggest the heavenly kingdom is here and at work and always has been. Jesus has made it possible for all of mankind to become part of it.

Is there a third heaven where our God dewels? absolutely Is it physical or spiritual? I honestly don't know.

Praise God un2him. So refreshing to see posts like this as it could have turned into something ugly. The BDF can be brutal when it should not be. Our Father wants us to love each other, not alienate ourselves. God bless, and welcome to CC.
 
Hi. My thought is this. It depends on what the word "heaven" means in the Bible. If it means the abode of God, it is the abstract realm of God,and is God, because the god of the Bible has no form. He is the invisible immortal law system which culminates in a being. If heaven means the universe, and is sometimes used in the plural sense, it means all locations other than Earth. There are also the 7 heavens referred to in Enoch, and I guess they refer to realms or levels on which souls exist. The watchers who rebelled and married Earth women are being held in a prison on one of those levels. In Revelation, there was war in "heaven" between Satan and his followers and Michael the arch-angel (created on Earth). The heaven mentioned here is one of the heavens in the Earth, called heaven number 2, I believe. I call it the "spirit of the Earth", which connects Satan, Gabriel and the "angels", and all people with the Earth. The Tree of Life was not from any heaven. It was the 2nd major tree connecting God and the Earth. It and the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil were located in the center of the Garden of Eden on the mountain of God.
 
It does not matter what my thoughts are, or where my imagination takes me when I ponder about heaven. The truth about heaven is in the bible. And the bible says flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven. Why not? Because heaven is not a physical place. Is love real? Oh very much so. Is love physical? Not at all. Your soul is not physical, and just as you step out of a car, someday you will step out of your body. Is your car ' you ' just because you were inside of it? Of course not.

Many people imagine heaven to be a physical place where there is no longer danger. You can fly. You can peacefully sit next to dangerous animals. You can walk on water. You can drink the water without concern for any bug or disease. But the truth is physical bodies are perishable. They grow old, they get hurt, they are temporary vehicles to walk among this earth.

What does it say about the new earth in Revelation? Hmmm, it says there is no sea, interesting. What supports all physical life on this earth? Water. So an earth void of water. What else will this new earth be void of? Well, what is the purpose of this earth we are on right now? For the wheat (righteous people) to grow along with the weeds (unrighteous people) until the harvest day (judgement day). What happens then? God will separate the wheat from the weeds, and put them in separate places. Therefore, the new earth will have only the righteous or only the wicked.

Where will God be? In heaven, says the bible. Where will God's people be? With God, never to be separated again. So that would mean that God's people will not go back and forth from the new heaven to the new earth. Which would mean that the people on the new earth are the unrighteous, and that not only is this new earth void of water, it is void of righteous people. Conclusion: the new earth is hell, fire and brimstone.

The descriptions of heaven are symbolic- not physical. For example, the pearly gates means that the way in is irritating yet beautiful (carrying our cross). When a grain of sand gets caught in a clam's mouth, it irritates the clam. So the clam produces layers around the grain- which forms pearls. In the same way, the weeds irritate the wheat, but they become stronger because of it.

They tried to build the Tower of Babel in order to reach God, but even if they understood the depth of outer space, they can't reach God by physical means, because God is not in a physical place.
