I don't see this 'second chance' stuff in Scripture. It takes the air out of the urgency to get out the Gospel..."Hey, why share the Gospel, God will do a better job of it when the person is passing through the portal". Totally with out Scriptural warrant, a pagan pipe dream.
True we don't know if he had a death bed conversion but let's at least not fool ourselves, those dying without Christ will perish eternally.
