Prince started out in life as a Seventh Day Adventist. Sometime around 2001
he joined the Jehovah's Witnesses; which is the missionary arm of the
Watchtower Society.

According to the Society's theology, human life is entirely physical. In other
words; people experience no conscious existence beyond the demise of their
bodies; and if there is no conscious existence beyond the demise of one's
body, then of course there is no hell.

But supposing the Society is mistaken? If so, then that poor man crossed
over the river Styx totally unprepared to run headlong into his worst
nightmare.

Up here on the surface, Prince was a celebrity. But down there, if he's down
there, Prince is just another skull among the myriads of forgotten souls who
no longer matter.

Three threads now on Prince and where he is. HE'S DEAD!! Let the man be, wherever he is. Only GOD knows where he is. It's NOT for US to speculate where he is. Y'all need to stop bashing him and wondering what his walk with God (or lack thereof) was like.

None of us can say 100% where Prince went. We simply don't know.By his lifestyle he seemed to have a change and there were songs he would no longer do because of the lyrics. I wasn't a fan of his music. Still I hope that someone reached him before it was too late. We cannot know for certain. I remember when Princess Diana died, a lot of people started saying she was in hell. Again,we don't know for sure.Only God knows the heart. I don't see much point, once someone is gone,to start speculating where they are. We need to focus on those that are here, the rest is in Gods hands.

"Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:"
2 Cor 5:6

"For as the body without the spirit is dead,..."
James 2:26

"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
2 Cor 5:8

Rhetorical question: Webster, when you, one day in the future die, would you like us to start a thread with this topic regarding you?

Or.... it's true that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord is in truth SAVED from sin & death.

If Prince was preaching from a pulpit when he died, no flesh can glory in God's sight. Don't forget, it's not what we do that gets rewared, it's what God does through us. Remember how the sheep said to Jesus, "When did we feed You? or clothe You? or visit You in prison?" They were not conscious of what works they did because they were too busy feeding, loving, visiting, clothing others for the sake of Christ.

The others (goats, those who are putting trust in their own obedience) said, "When didn't we feed or clothe or visit you in prison?" And Jesus said, "When you neglected them, You neglected Me."

Preaching for or against a denomination isn't preaching the gospel. The gospel is Jesus Christ crucified in the flesh that people might be saved. Nothing more.

Gossiping and making a spectacle of someone who has passed from this world is not preaching the gospel.

People experience no (mortal, logical, flesh) conscious existence beyond the demise of their bodies is absolutely right. Our carnal mind can't enter the kingdom. The only thing in us that can relate to God is His own Spirit within us. Your logical mind will be done away with because there is no fear or darkness in God's Kingdom. The mind of Christ in you will last forever, not your logically thinking carnal mortal mind, which is God's enemy.

Its only rhetorical if the answer is obvious.
I know I wouldnt care what the world I left behind thought. Once one is dead; all the worldly cares are forgotten. No more tears no more bad just joy! I will be praising the Lord and rejoicing in being there with HIM.

Is there any evidence that he trusted Christ as his Savior? If not you know where he is and if he did then you know where he is.

Before or after his BODY died?

This is a leading question:p

Before of course. I once felt so guilty when a Dutch politician was killed. He was gay and not saved. I hadn't prayed for him. Then later I heard an evangelist had to pray for him for 4 hours and then God said it was good. He put the tv on and saw he had just been killed. I believe he's in heaven. I must pray much more for souls on the edge of eternity. Ian McCormack was an atheist and got saved just before he died because his mother prayed.

The thing with this though, is that even those that "knew" him well enough to legitimately see any evidence have no idea what his relationship with God is like.

And that is especially true for us "paparazzi" who only knew of him through the media.

God knows and judges our hearts. He knows Prince's heart and will judge him accordingly. Just because he didn't yell it from the rooftops, doesn't mean he wasn't a christian. Celebs usually stay quiet about their religion. Maybe he was a christian, maybe he wasn't. Only God knows that little tidbit of information. :)

Prince was a JW.

JW's deny Jesus' deity.

He who has The Son, has eternal life; he who does not have The Son, does not have eternal life.

Prince does not have eternal life because He rejected The Son.

Prince is now eternally dead - in every possible sense of the word...

Instead of wondering and debating whether those who have already passed are in heaven,

maybe we should focus on getting more of those who are still alive there?
