Real Church
Where is the true church?
I’m not supporting any church here, but I would like to point out some text in Bible.
I’ am a Christian from Papua New Guinea a country North of Australia and it’s the second largest Island in the pacific.
My country is a Christian’s country and almost all the citizen are Christians. Almost all the Christians that you name are found in Papua New Guinea. We believe in death and rise of Jesus Christ.
But where is the real Christians church?
In 1 Corinthian 3:9-15 talk about all different churches built on one stone which is Jesus Christ. And the foundation of all the church has to come from Jesus Christ. All the churches built on Jesus the stone will be tested by fire and the one that does not burn is the true church. There are some churches built on stone, and some built on Gold and some built on wood. Every church will be tested with fire.
The bible says in Mathew 16:18, peter will be the rock that Jesus and God will built the church on. Bible says that its peter the rock and God’s church will be built on him. That does not mean that Catholic Church is the only church because bible does not mention that its catholic church.
Right after the Pentecost day, there was a great persecution, and all the apostles were scattered. Persecution spread because they do want Jesus teaching to be spread. So some of the apostles like Steven died there and Saul continues to destroy the churches. See Acts 8:1-8.
Acts 12: 4-5 stated that John was arrested and Put in Jail. He hide from his enemies and escape from place to place but he was caught and put in prison.
Almost all of the apostles were not settled down in one place and build the church that Jesus Promise to build on peter, they were scattered all over the place fearing the persecution died.
Romans 16:17-18 stated that, watch carefully for those who cause division to the teaching that you have learnt. And in jut 1:19 stated that, those who break away from church follow their own thoughts.
In Isaiah 28:16 stated that there is only one stone to build the church which is Jesus Christ and Jesus promise peter that he will be the stone that Jesus will build his church. So, where is the church now?
All the apostles die including John without building any church
