I was a friends house sleeping in after a late night party we'd had. I didn't wake up until both towers were completely demolished. I remember driving home without a plane in the sky and how eerie it was. No, I didn't have any idea regarding what had happened or what was going to happen. I do remember surprising my friends when they told me we were going to war in Iraq and for some reason thought I'd be excited (probably because I was always training in martial arts and other combat techniques) but I wasn't. Nothing seemed to fit.

I was in my apartment...I remember hearing about the first plane but didn't see it crash, the second plane is still so shockingly vivid in my mind I don't think I will ever forget. And no me either did I know what us as Americans were going to give up. The citizens of this country did nothing wrong but in the end, we payed a heavy price. Because remember now..after September 11,2001... Freedom ain't Free.
Freedom has NEVER been free! It ALWAYS comes at a cost! I was at home, and my then-bf came over and we were talking and he mentioned something about the towers getting hit.. Then he left and I turned on the tv just in time to see the 2nd plane hit. I was like, "oh..my..god.." Then I started bawling when the people jumped out of the buildings. My brother was there as a firefighter that day. In fact, 3 NY firefighters just died of cancer (supposedly related to 911), and they all died on the same day. So even now 13 years later, we are still losing victims to the events of that day.

Several firefighters from neighboring states went to NY that day. Vermont is about 5 hours away by car, give or take an hour either way. My brother was'nt at the heart of the action, but was close enough to lend assistance elsewhere.
And alot of the first-hand eyewitnesses who told what they saw and heard that day, have all died under mysterious circumstances. Coincidence? NOPE! Murder!! 1000% inside job!! Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda had NOTHING to do with 9/11. They were just scapegoats used by the US govt. JMO..

I was in high school. Somebody started screaming and everybody rushed to the tv. I couldnt believe it, I thought it was some video game...but it wasn't...and I remember bursting out in tears...the rest of that day I can't remember, really...

Word!!!!!! And the rest of us told "don't say anything or u r a terriost!" Ridiculous! "Don't stand up and say anything people! We r insatiable! We are the Bush (WAR) administration! Don't stand against us when we take UR rights! Don't say anything when WE decided it is time for WAR! Don't open your yaps once, or Guantanamo Bay for u!!"
i can tell you what was going on at my house on 9/11 and though 9/11 is bad however find this kinda funny. we were taking the carpet in the living room out and putting hardwood floor when the floor guy mentioned about a plane crashing into a tower

It does make it old news. Was it a tragedy? sure. 13 years later am I tired of hearing about it? definitely. Its time to move on.

I was on the couch knitting and the kids were doing their home schooling lessons. My dad called and said one of the towers was hit by an airplane. About 15 min after I turned on the tv a plane hit the second one, and then there was an announcement about the Pentagon being hit. I only thought it was an accident until the second tower was hit, then I wondered if we were all going to meet our wonderful Maker that day; was the entire country under attack?

we have told you repeatedly the reasons. 1: We (as a country) are still deeply effected by laws that were passed in the aftermath of 9-11 (the patriot act) 2: it was from 9-11 that the U.S. began it's "war on terror" where we still bomb countries around the world (yes people are still dying) 3: if in fact it was a conspiracy in which the U.S. government acted upon or covered up then we need understand that our own government consists of an entity that is in itself an enemy to humanity. We then would have to dig deeper, why? and what should we expect to come next? If you can't understand that then you never will and you should accept that and move on.

Because the "official" story that the government gave us is faker than a $3 bill!! Because so many first-hand eyewitnesses who said that it was NOT a jet airliner, but a GOVT PLANE, that hit the 2nd tower, are now for the most part all dead under mysterious circumstances!! Because the USA needed a scapegoat to cover its butt so they blamed Iraq and Iran for it. Follow the money trail, which ironically was housed in both bldg 7 AND the Pentagon, and you will know exactly WHY they allowed 9/11 to happen!! This country is NOT as great as it claims to be. If you want to accept the untrue, "official" must-be-true-cuz-its-official version of that day, go right ahead but the rest of us have lots of valid unanswered questions and we know better than to believe what our corrupted govt tries to spoon feed us! And even today, all these years later, we are still losing victims to that event. 3 firefighters who were there that day, just died on the same day of cancer. How sadly ironic. But then again, the govt IS still killing off eyewitnesses who contradict their "official" story.
