That is all well and good. But do you not see that any person you look at, you are just as cursed as they are by the law? it does not matter who it is, and what they have done? Can you admit that?
Well, not really, you see I understand this passage and it applies to me...
Gal 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE"),
Christ took the curse in my place.
So you lose salvation, then get saved again, lose salvation, then get saved again. when does it all end? When does God say enough is enough, I am sick of saving you over and over, you think you can go out and do as you wish, just because you come to me and say your sorry?
You apparently have not connected all the dots on sin and salvation. What did Christ say about sin and forgiveness...
Mat 18:21 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
Mat 18:22 Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
Mat 18:23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
Mat 18:24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
Mat 18:25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made.
Mat 18:26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, 'Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.'
Mat 18:27
Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
Hmmm, happens every time. How often do we seek that forgiveness?
Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
Each time we pray, that is in the prayer outline and how often should we pray this?
Psa 55:17 Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.
David set the example of three times a day.
Now this is one that I know you will not want to hear, but I didn't say it, Christ did. Forgiveness is contingent upon us doing something...
Mat 18:28 "But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'
Mat 18:29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.'
Mat 18:30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.
Mat 18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done.
Mat 18:32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.
Mat 18:33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?'
Mat 18:34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
Mat 18:35 "So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses."
Our forgiveness is contingent upon us forgiving others. It is conditional, like it or not.
Another point about sin is that willful sin, choosing to sin, or continuing in sin without repentance brings the death penalty...
Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
Heb 10:29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
So your salvation is not based on the blood of Christ, but on how well you are at KNOWING everytime you sin, and then being able to come to God and ask for forgiveness.?
Uh, that is not what I said. Again, what I have said is that repentance is given by God...
Rom 2:4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
God leads us to repentance and then justification by the blood of Christ, reconciliation to the Father by His death and then salvation through His life...
Rom 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Rom 5:10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
is that not the power of self to salvation, and not the power of God, who removed the curse from us, thus once the schoolmaster did its job, we are no longer under the schoolmaster (curse)?
Nope, that is the process of salvation as outlined in scripture.
