I'm getting back together with my exhusband by the grace of God. My family isn't happy about it, they'll support me, but they're not thrilled at all. I'm not sure if I'm to make them happy and listen to them aka my parents or follow my heart and be with my ex. Help?
 

It really depends on what your ex is like...is he violent? What is it about him that your parents don't like?
 
Well, it kind of depends. I think you gotta look at why y'all divorced in the first place. Listen to what your parents have to say (whether you agree with them or not) and understand that they are simply older and wiser so what they may have to say might have some value to you. If you think that either you or your ex have changed for the better and you believe that y'all will be happily married for the rest of your lives then pray to God for support and strength. I pray you'll know what to do and you're onfident in whatever dicision you make! God bless <3
 
I agree with Lucy, a big part of the decision lies in what the problems are. Some are smaller and can be more easily dealt with, like laziness such as not helping with chores or things along those lines. But if he is physically or verbally violent then that's a whole other story as those are not easy things to work through.
Whatever it is i'm sorry you're going through it.
