When did I ever say that? I said "about a year and a half." (18 months, give or take)
Yes my apologies, I read it wrong or fat fingers one or the other lol,,, you actually said a year and a half, my bust.

Their travel time for a year and a half computes to about 2,400 miles. What countries that were known to have rich kings who were astronomers and knew Jewish history (obviously Orientals were that developed) would fall into that mileage range in an Eastward direction?

Just to keep us honest in traveling time, It would have taken about two months to get from Jerusalem to the 7 churches named in the book of Revelation. And about another month to make the trip between those 7 churches.
Arabia was the country east of Jerusalem, the whole swat of land east was Arabia, now if they came from the middle of the country or farther east than the middle than ok it could have been that far. So on horse back they could have traveled 50 miles a day, so roughly that would be around 48 days or so. Let's say they walked 25 miles a day, then that would be what 96 days little over 3 months. if they just walked a mere 12 miles a day would still be only about little over 6 months worth of walking.
You make me laugh. I can tell you know absolutely nothing about traveling the way they traveled. They would be VERY lucky to make more than 60 miles a week........ and that would be a "forced march" that would have killed both men and animals in a month.
you make me laugh, I didn't know you rode with them,,, I am jk,
let's keep it real they covered a lot of ground in short times frames, people in those days knew how to travel quite well, you don't give them any credit of traveling, I have know idea were you got that info from, but I'm willing to learn if you got some solid info on how they traveled and at what speed they could.
