Which gender has it better overall? Curious to see what you all think. Be sure to vote according to your gender!

Girls get to be pursued. Guys get to be the one who asks. Girls have to carry the babies. Guys have to work and protect. Guys have to put themselves out there to ask a girl out. Girls have to wait and hope the right guy asks. These are all general statements of course, but I'm curious to see if you think your gender has it best or the other one does, for any reasons at all that you can think of.

AH! I'm torn! We both have it better and worse in different ways. Um, but if I must pick one, I would say guys have it better based on women having to endure the pregnancy process/giving birth.

I base my vote for guys having it better because there are so many more appealing and available girls to guys. I fret over my daughter finding a suitable spouse one day. I'm not so concerned for my son, unless I catch him wearing my daughter's dress or something. :)

I've only been one gender my entire life, so I really can't say. I can see numerous advantages and disadvantages either way.

Lol, guys definitely have it better. No doubt. Ladies have way more to worry about

I don't really know. Guys have to lead, girls need to learn to let guys lead (in the biblical, selfless sense).
I would say that guys have it easier over all.

Yeah but they have to deal with us lol

lol!!
I just make a mental note to hide from people during certain moon phases. And remain extra mindful during those times. It's surprisingly great practice for patience actually. :p

Ok in all seriousness...it's really impossible to say who has it worse for sure, since we all have just one perspective to base our guess on.

In society in many ways? Yes, girls do have it better because guys are seen as lazy or potential abusers etc.

I'm abusive......I will unmercifully devour half the brownies you just pulled out of the oven before they cool off......muhahahaha

I just realized by reading this thread that God gave women mood swings during menstruation and pregnancy so that the men in their lives can share in the suffering. :p

I loved being pregnant!!

I could say some things...but then I think it may just be best to exit quietly

I I only know from the perspective of a girl that being pursued is nice , but it can be frustrating when you have to wait for a long time for a guy to take the initiative. Childbirth....I don't know from experience, some women say having babies is both a blessing and a curse(because of the pain). Some say it's just a curse ...I like to think they are exaggerating.

For life in general, it really depends on your surroundings. It wouldn't be convenient to be a woman in some areas of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, India, etc or even Latin America . Sometimes it's not convenient to be a woman when walking on a dark street at night (girls remember to always bring your pepper spray with you!). It can be very unconvenient having to sit on the toilet when it's cold , especially if you are at a public restroom...which are supposed to be avoided like the flu.

In general, and because I'm a girl and I know nothing else, I think guys have it easier. But I don't think it's easy for any of us...and I'm pretty happy being a woman because the brightside is that girls get chocolate, flowers, and most romantic songs are inspired by us...or at least by some imaginary women that some men created in their minds lol.

Leading is not easy if you think its easy, then i guess you have not been a leader, no offense.
Pregnancy is not easy either, and i have encountered a girl in ""her days"" smh, not a good sight to behold.

so basically no ONE has it better, they all have a share of work to do, and things to endure and when you see them easy, then you aint doing it right :) or truly understanding the whole ordeal, that is the cost of it, what you have to do and not to do, the dilligence behind it. smh.

i believe thats part of the reason why GOD created marriage, HELPING each other through this all ordeals, TWO HEADS are better THAN ONE. and if we start saying who has it better? basically arguments will rise up, and division at times. even if a woman has to be submissive to the man, the man has to love the woman so much that the woman submits automatically.

Good bless you all

and finding the right girl is not easy either, and neither is waiting for the right guy. not every cute, successful or the man or woman that we chosen to like is the one GOD wants for us. His thoughts and understanding is way above us, He takes us step by step through the whole thing, until the day He leads us to the right person and walk down the aile.
if you have noticed, much of how saints live or understand concerning finding the right one has been taken from the world. i would prove every theory, concept about relationship and pray diligently about it, you will be surprised what God reveals to you on it.

I think that each gender has its burdens to bear, but I think guys have it easier in general. They have to be the spiritual leader and physical protector/provider for the family, and both are very challenging. But because of the physical things women have to deal with (monthly stuff, pregnancy, child birth, after-affects of childbirth, making sure the shirt isn't too low and nothing is showing when bent over, etc.), some social issues (more extreme in other countries than here), and safety issues (being alone, being typically weaker than a man, etc), I voted for guys having it easier.

I just want to reiterate that I think both genders have disadvantages and advantages. I'm not a guy so I don't really know the disadvantages as well as I know the disadvantages of being a woman, but based on the ones I do know, that is why I voted the way I did.

And now I'm rambling. :D
