According to a lesson outline in an article, The three/four views are
  1. Preterist – The Term Refers To Something That Has Happened In The Past – Preterist Tense Of A Verb (IE. I Go – Present Tense; I Went: Preterite Tense Or Past Tense). The Book Refers To The Events Taking Place During The Writing Of The Book. The Struggle Between Rome And The Church.
  2. Idealist / Philosophical / Spiritual – The Book Contains Principles That Refer To The Church’s Ongoing Struggle With The Evil In The World (Cyclical) And How It Will Triumph.
  3. Historical / Historicist – A Forecast Of The Entire Period Of Church History Between The First And Second Coming Of Jesus. Key Events In History Prophesied Until The End (Roman Catholicism, Reformation, Etc.).
  4. Futurist – The Book Describes Mainly The Events That Will Take Place At The End Of The World. Total Prophecy.

None of those carnal secular views is correct.

Simple answer: All of those views are neither Spiritual nor Eternal Life.

(1)
Preterist
– The Term Refers To Something That Has Happened In The Past Preterite Tense Or Past Tense). The Book Refers To The Events Taking Place During The Writing Of The Book.

What scriptures states :

Revelation 1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

>>>> This is Jesus speaking, The Eternal Living Word of God Spirit, Jesus was = past-tense , Jesus is = present tense and Jesus will be - future tense, all tenses are simultaneous, that is how the eternal Spirit works.

(2)
Idealist / Philosophical / Spiritual
– The Book Contains Principles That Refer To The Church’s Ongoing Struggle With The Evil In The World

>>>> The 'Church' as define by the Bible= the Word of God Spirit, is a calling from out from out of the world and towards God Spirit.

The True Church of God are the "CALLED OUT and chosen FEW"

The Church = the 'CALL' does not struggle with anything as this is a DIRECT calling from God Spirit, what can thwart the will of God .....NOTHING!!!!!

The struggle with Evil is a Spiritual battle that "Idealist / Philosophical" can not discern. ( I purposely left out "Spiritual" as you did not specify what type of spiritual ?!?

(3)
Historical / Historicist
– A Forecast Of The Entire Period Of Church History Between The First And Second Coming Of Jesus.

>>>> Revelation does only ONE thing , the book REVEALS who is Jesus the Christ of God Spirit.

The Book of revelation is never refereed too as a history book, it is in fact stated as Spirit :

Revelation 1:10
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day/Light, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,

(4)
Futurist
– The Book Describes Mainly The Events That Will Take Place At The End Of The World. Total Prophecy.

Revelation 21:1
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

>>>> "NOW" is present tense, not futuristic in any form.

Revelation 1:1
This is the revelation of Jesus Christ [His unveiling of the divine mysteries], which God [the Father] gave to Him to show to His bond-servants (believers) the things which must soon take place [in their entirety]; and He sent and communicated it by His angel (divine messenger) to His bond-servant John,

>>>> Let this sink a bit .... "THIS IS!!" .... "to SHOW !!!" .... "He sent and communicated it by His angel!!!"

None of the views INCLUDE Spiritual DISCERNMENT, which is the ONLY way to KNOW God's Knowledge through/with the Holy Spirit sent in Jesus name.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Ahh..so your view and understanding of Revelation is the only correct one..you must be special.

What good is having the right view of it or the end times if someone is not saved?

And if a belief of the end times doesn’t cause one to have an understanding or a lifestyle that is rebellious toward God and His word, then is their view really a big deal to argue about? Can someone still be saved and be off on the end times?

Are there any examples in scripture where people were told about the end times before they were saved, and if there were, who is to say they understood what they were told?

Everyone believes their view is the “right” one otherwise they’d not believe it. There are at least three or four different views.

And I would dare say that just like the first time Jesus came to Earth to do his ministry tour....
NOBODY but one or two people are going to recognize it...even though literally millions of people had the scriptures to decipher what the time and date of His arrival would be. They even KNEW that the most blatant signs were fulfilled but failed to recognize their Messiah. Paul didn't and he was a Pharisee of Pharisees...until he had a moment on the road to Damascus.
Its hubris to think that we today will be any better than they.

Revelation 1:19 "Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this."

It seems to be a bit of all: yesterday, today, and forever.

What are the different views.

The book of Revelation is a revealing of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world.

Which the mystery of God will be finished which the world will know about God with proof.

The atheist that did not believe will now have proof but it will be too late.

Some people believe that Revelation happened in the 1st century but it did not.

Because the world still does not know about God having proof.

The book of Revelation is a warning to the world to get right with God to escape judgment that is coming.

For He is ready to end sin on earth which He is giving the world 7 years to have their way and cause all people that do not love Him to rebel against Him.

God will not give up on the world until the world gives up on Him.

So He is not forcing them to go against the truth but the wicked will do what they will do.

And during the 7 years the devil will able to influence the world more with the first half influencing the world and the last half controlling the world which the beast ascends up out of the bottomless pit which means the devil is off his leash.

Which this is because God is giving the world their way which He will give all people strong delusion that do not love the truth.

Some people believe the beast kingdom in Revelation happened in the past but it is not true.

The Roman Empire does not lose their dominion until Jesus puts the world down.

Which out of them come 10 horns.

Which is the world divided in to 10 sections with a leader in each section.

Which will be all Caucasian nations and nations taken over by them with the new age plan that interprets all religions according to the occult and evolution, and there is no personal God.

Which they will shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

Which the Roman Empire in the first century did not devour the whole earth.

The antichrist comes from the 10 horns and when the antichrist starts working in the world he will push the agenda of the new age for three and one half years.

Which during the last three and one half years he will have power over all nations, kindreds, and tongues that could not happen in the past.

For people that think the beast kingdom has to do with Babylon, Islam in the future it does not for the physical dominion is the Roman Empire.

Also the Bible says Babylon(Iraq), Medo-Persia(Iran), and Greece will never have physical dominion again but their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

Which their ways are still on earth.

Beast kingdom 10 horns physical dominion Roman Empire.

Ways of a lion, Babylon, human religion, the occult, kingdom of man.

Which the beast kingdom is Babylon in spirit which she represents human religion the occult, kingdom of man which is what the beast kingdom is about.

Which is the new age movement which shall come out at the latter times.

Iraq, Iran, and no Arab nation, or Islam will have any dominion on earth.

With the ways of a bear, Medo-Persia, physical cruelty in war to take away all people who oppose their system.

With the ways of a leopard, Greece, human wisdom.

The kingdom of man in its entirety.

The beast kingdom is in the future and is when the world rebels against God causing Him to defeat the world and end sin.

Which then the mystery of God shall be finished which the world will know about Him.

The book of Revelation is a revealing of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world.

The book of Revelation is a warning to the world to get right with God to escape judgment that is coming.
