Nevertheless, this only stave off the conundrum that hassles inside us. When we run into a predicament, it arises the quandary in our mind: “I wonder if Jesus really loves me…”. The enemies only expose the wound that we cultivate with so much alacrity.
We are used to being dilatory in our thorough commitment to Jesus and His Word. We fill ourselves up with tasks that only puff our self, while our soul stays casting down. There are moments that we need to tell ourselves off, abide by the will of Jesus and yearn for the oil of joy that the Creator promised to us in Christ Jesus (Psalms 45.7; Hebrews 1.9).
