Where were the angels before they were born ?

The angels in Heaven were not born, but created.
They were all likely created at the same time.

Be glad that you aren't this angel:

Eze_28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

They are the born again, and they are either on earth or with Christ in God.

You mean that they are the born from above, right?

G1080
γεννάω
gennaō
ghen-nah'-o
From a variation of G1085; to procreate (properly of the father, but by extension of the mother); figuratively to regenerate: - bear, beget, be born, bring forth, conceive, be delivered of, gender, make, spring.

G509
ἄνωθεν
anōthen
an'-o-then
From G507; from above; by analogy from the first; by implication anew: - from above, again, from the beginning (very first), the top.

No, they would be his creatures.

Only the born again are his children and sons.

Just because someone is born from above does not mean they will make it back to GOD. Being born from above, meaning coming from GOD to this age through flesh, just qualifies you to come back to HIM (if you are in CHRIST, that is).

Would not most any being created by God be His child? Just wondering.
No, they would be his creatures.

Only the born again (among humans) are his children and sons.
Heb 12:18-24 compares the OT assembly (Mt. Sinai) with the NT assembly (Mt. Zion),
and indicates that angels are in the NT assembly (v.22),
as well as the spirits of the OT saints (v.23).

They are the ones whose spirits are born again, raised from spiritual death (no Holy Spirit life)
to eternal life by the Holy Spirit.

Hi Kaycie,

As you said above, Adam was a son of GOD. But look at these verses in Job again. Before the earth was finished being prepared, the sons of GOD were shouting for joy.

Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Job 38:2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
Job 38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
Job 38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
Job 38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

And where was Jeremiah before he was in his mother's womb?

And why did the angel tell John he was a member of the prophets?
Are you implying that Jeremiah was alive as a spirit and then placed in a human body to be born ?

Where do you find "born from above" in the NT?

Hi Elect,
I'm not implying it, GOD said it. If HE says it right there in Jeremiah, are you going to say HE is wrong?

Look at the verse deeply:

Jer 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Now look at the original manuscript meaning of 'I knew':

H3045
ידע
yâda‛
yaw-dah'
A primitive root; to know (properly to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively instruction, designation, punishment, etc.): - acknowledge, acquaintance (-ted with), advise, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware, [un-] awares, can [-not], certainly, for a certainty, comprehend, consider, X could they, cunning, declare, be diligent, (can, cause to) discern, discover, endued with, familiar friend, famous, feel, can have, be [ig-] norant, instruct, kinsfolk, kinsman, (cause to, let, make) know, (come to give, have, take) knowledge, have [knowledge], (be, make, make to be, make self) known, + be learned, + lie by man, mark, perceive, privy to, X prognosticator, regard, have respect, skilful, shew, can (man of) skill, be sure, of a surety, teach, (can) tell, understand, have [understanding], X will be, wist, wit, wot.

Basically it says GOD knew Jeremiah before he was born by seeing Jeremiah, by observing Jeremiah.

So, you can't say that isn't true unless you are discounting GOD! It's that simple!

Where do you find "born from above" in the NT?

Right here:

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Look at the original manuscript meaning of the word 'again':

G509
ἄνωθεν
anōthen
an'-o-then
From G507; from above; by analogy from the first; by implication anew: - from above, again, from the beginning (very first), the top.

It means, 'from above'. Also check the word 'born' while you are at it. It means born as in having a baby in flesh, conceive.

Do you know how to use a Strong's Concordance and what it is used for?

God said this
[h=1]Isaiah 46:10King James Version (KJV)[/h]10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

thus God knows all things that does not say Jeremiah was in a world in spirit form and then placed a human body God told Moses who had made the dumb blind etc remeber the blind man that was born for the glory of God

my friend jeremiah was not concious in a spirit world
Where was Adam ? did god not do the same for him as jeremiah ?

How was eve born ?

Nice answer, sometimes we complicate it all too much...

If complicating it all too much is to completely overlook something important that GOD says, then I have difficulty understanding why you read HIS Word at all. Tell me straight out, did GOD say this or not?

Jer 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

And birth from above is rebirth of one's spirit by the Holy Spirit, not of one's flesh on earth by a human mother.

It is rebirth from spiritual death (no Holy Spirit life) to eternal life by the Holy Spirit.

Hi Elin,
JESUS was talking about physical in that verse. Can you please concentrate on that verse and analyze it inside and out as it was written in the original Bible, even before it was translated into the KJV? Do you have a Strong's Concordance?

Well, the word "born" in Jn 3:3 is "beget" (gennao), and it is used both of the physical and
the spiritual (1Co 4:5; Phm 10; 1Jn 2:29, 3:9, 4:7, 5:1, 4, 18; Jn 3:3, 5-6, 7, 8).

And "again" in Jn 3:3, 7 is anothen, which means "anew; from above."

So "born anew, from above" (Jn 3:3, 7) is spiritual rebirth.

The mormons know how to deceive. They think a lot of false things. They take some truth and manipulate it to deceive people into joining them. You might be wise to learn GOD'S WORD properly. I can tell you are only knowing the surface of GOD'S WORD to make a statement like that.
