Read John 3:7, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Matthew 21:31, 2 Peter 1:3-11

The first and most important qualification is to be born again. That is essential even to see the kingdom of God. It's not enough to be upright morally, diligent in good works, studying God's word or even praying. The Pharisee did all these things but they disqualified themselves by their self righteousness.

Paul explained who was disqualified from entering the Kingdom God. That's the negative. As an aside, a lot of believers use 1 Corinthians 6:9 to beat up on homosexuals. I've done that myself. However, I saw that it was just one of a list of sinful behaviours unacceptable to God. And verse 11 gives the answer: some of the Corinthians were that kind of sinner, but they found deliverance in Christ. No one is so deep into sin that he cannot be set free.

The key to entering the Kingdom is obedience to God's revealed will in this life. As I've said before, entrance into the kingdom of God is not the same as entering heaven. Those who are born again have eternal life. God will accept them as His own. But there will be no rewards for those who choose to live for themselves

Thanks brother for all these inspiring messages.
You're on a roll.

I believe the biggest issue, is sin for most part is never treated equally, when really all sin even the minor ones. shouldn't be over looked.

My family have a hard time understanding the process of being born again, and I believe it's probably common for people to think being born again means some kind of spiritual possession,

In my view I believe it's a seed that gets planted 🙂

I'll go with Got Questions on this, they are same.

While some believe that the Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are referring to different things, it is clear that both phrases are referring to the same thing. The phrase “kingdom of God” occurs 68 times in 10 different New Testament books, while “kingdom of heaven” occurs only 32 times, and only in the Gospel of Matthew. Based on Matthew’s exclusive use of the phrase and the Jewish nature of his Gospel, some interpreters have concluded that Matthew was writing concerning the millennial kingdom while the other New Testament authors were referring to the universal kingdom.

However, a closer study of the use of the phrase reveals that this interpretation is in error.

Absolutely they are recounting the exact same sermons one withoit says “ kingdom of heaven “ the other 2 used a slightly different term so it reads “ kingdom of God “

Matthews gospel reads like this

“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

mark reads like this

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Luke reads

“And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:17-19, 21,

As you say the only difference is the authors choice of word .the kingdom is the same , all the parables and teachings are the same the sermons the same events the same. Terminolgy slightly different because different folks speak and write differently .( like we do here on the forum )

We also get different details in each account that add up to a fuller picture . For instance luke is true and happened about the time Jesus began to preach the gospel and come from Galilee that we see in the other two accounts . But the other two authors didn’t find that part worth writing or just didn’t put that detail in but the accounts are still consistent that he began preaching the gospel of the kingdom at that time and , that he stood up speaking from Isaiah’s prophecy about him .

By looking at the contemporary verses we see a fuller account and more refined inderrrsnding of what took place the Bible is presented in a very apacalyptic style of literature other than the epistles .

So for instance we have three gospels focused on the same things of Jesus life and preaching and teaching and of course his death and resurrection but if we take in all the different accounts of the things that happened then we can understand the details of what happened or what was said moreso than if we just take in limited amounts or sources of the witnesses Jesus annointed .

The first and most important qualification is to be born again.

1 John 5:1
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.

you're only a foetus when you are born, after all, not an instant adult ;)

I personally feel a ferus would know more about being born again because after all it wasn't born yesterday 😂.

Or should I say you can't fool a ferus coz it wasn't born yesterday haha

but scripture has only one true Author - - The Holy Ghost :)
Indeed

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the holy ghost was in Matthew who wrote

“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Same exact thing just two witnesses of Jesus speaking a bit differently about thier account. Not reporting differently but speaking differently. That’s all I was saying the same parables he tells in Matthew regarding the kingdom of heaven are the same ones in mark and Luke regarding the kingdom of God. Same sermons just slightly different words in the texts.

per John, the key is belief :)

per Jesus, belief is obedience to His will

have faith, bro (y)
“and brought them out, and said, Sirs, ( Paul and Silas ) what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. ( so they could believe it ) And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭16:30-34‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Yes, and both phrases signify ultimate resurrection to heaven, which is Paul's preferred term (as in Phil. 2:10 & 3:20, cf. Matt. 6:10).

Don't you find it strange the Jesus didn't use this terminology again, or the Apostles, or their disciples, or the church for 1900 years??

I think if one reads the Letters to the Hebrews and the Book of James, one can tell there are two very distinct styles of written expression.

This is what makes it all so amazing, how God used them as individuals with their individual phrasing and terms to impart His Truth.

And it was correct to kept this in mind when interpreting the text.

Amen totally agree. Because it’s like that we get different details of the same things they all have a focus on different things but are all speaking of the same things just differently with different details and focal points.

scripture is amazing in that all of thier perspectives are coming from direct inspiration of God by his spirit . I think also it shows us the holy ghost doesn’t make us robots who all speak and act the exact same but our personality is also precious to God our individuality within him . He doesn’t take who we are away but just heals us and makes us better versions of who he made us to be quirks and all

Yeah sometimes they just say “ gospel of the kingdom “ or “ gospel “ gospel of God “ gospel of his son “ gospel of the grace of Christ “ “ word of truth “ word of life “ word of the lord ect it’s all referencing the same one and only gospel which Jesus began preaching and they all then witness to the world , even today when we open the New Testament we are hearing thier ( chosen isralites remnant ) witness of the gospel of the kingdom of God.

A person who is born again is born again by the will of God. John 1: 13 Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, not of the will of man, but of God. You are born again when the Father chooses you by granting repentance for sins committed and leading you to the knowledge of forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ, who in turn baptizes you with the Father's Holy Spirit when you believe in him. In Isaiah 63: 9-10, the Holy Spirit is referred to as "the angel of His presence". An angel because it can be sent, and where the Holy Spirit is, the Father is. The Holy Spirit is a portal through which the Son, and the Father through the Son, can enter our beings in order to change our motivation for living from love of self to love for God the Father first and all others as we love ourselves. That would mean that salvation can be experienced when you are in that state of being produced by the will of God.

such a nice refreshing post,.which is lovely to see after what I'm having to put up with lately here.

A lot of people talk about the feeling of change they go through, a quickening, some say a complete transformation instantly and they never go back, other say a work in process.

I guess it's the same thing in one sense.

But I feel it would or should be an instant transformation for the more serious offenders,

But concentrating on people who are good, like say a well behaved kind hearted well mannered child, is there a need for them to be saved is it possible there saved already ☺️
