I think it is safe to say, that God Himself is the King of the power of the air. For it is written, ".. not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the Lord of hosts. "
It is also written that the devil is the prince of the power of the air.
Many would say, God is the one who performs or causes the blessings or that which is good, and the devil is the one who performs or works the curse or that which is evil, based on our works and doings. But is that entirely accurate?
It should already be known, that God has established truths or laws that govern both the spirit world and the natural one we live in.
God's word and promises are truths that are forever established. That makes it a law, like the law of faith or the law of gravity. It never changes, and it works the same way every time, without fail.
I would also add that some laws supersede others, like federal law supersedes state law, and in like manner, the law of life in Christ Jesus, supercedes the law of sin and death. So some laws will cancel out or supersede other laws.
Now consider this, if you will.
Both God and the devil uses man to get things done or to accomplished things in the natural world.
The devil needs a living human being to cause bad things to happentto good people in this world, and is limited without one.
Take Job for example while considering what I said above.
Could the devil really do all he did without another person or persons doing some kind of witchcraft or sending curses against Job?
I have another perplexing question.
Who did the actual works against Job? Was it God or the devil?
Reason why I asked that is because, God said the devil moved his hand against job. So was it God that actually did the work against Job or was it the devil? Was it God's power through his Spirit upholding a law, or was it the devil's power against Job?
It is written, both death and life is in the power of the tongue, and they that love it, shall eat the fruit thereof.
I asked another question. What power is that referring to and through whose tongue does that power go through?
Again it is written, I create the fruit of the lips say the Lord of hosts.
It doesn't say whose lips, does it?
That could be either a good person's lips or a bad person's. It is God who creates said fruit.
Again, consider this.
In Matthew 12:35 and Luke 6:45 Jesus said, a good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth, or causes to manifest in the natural, that which is good, and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart, bringeth forth, or causes to manifest in the natural, that which is evil. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
So there you have it, bad people can cause bad things to happen to other people's lives by what comes out of their mouth, and God is the one who creates the fruit thereof or gives power to those words when they put God's laws in motion to work for them.
