yes, the Harlot, fueled by the Dragon, will do just that.. its foundation, sandy foundation, prepared just prior to its Blossoming. the Harlot is the FALSE CHURCH, read about its Characteristics in Revelation, upon its destruction, that is the counterfeit global Bride. it will use pharmaceutical behavior medications to 'conrol' those who dont fall in line.. ITS COMING WITH POWER AND DECEPTION.. one would not think the 'bride would do that'? but it will BECAUSE HE THAT lets is removed, allowing its apostate character to fully blossom, ye see that foreshadowing today.. oh yes.. NEVER in the history of time ,has the 'industry' upon which the Whore deceives the gentiles or seduces them with sorcery or witchcraft, BEEN IN PLACE... this was not in place back when Paul penned alot of the NT.. BUT IT IS TODAY.. oh yes.. I personally have been a target of the foreshadowinig Whore with its pharmaceutical medications, using them to mold and conform an image of Christ, indeed... not only myself but my girfriends 'boy'. went thru the same thing.. but on an educational level, satan coming in and trying to 'steal' that young mans identity away thru behavior control medications.. at that time, Daniels 70th week, the pharmaceutical industry will be the LEFT ARM of the Dragon .. indeed. there is lots of good medicine out there and God can heal with medicine, but when you use it to control and replace the Work of the Spirit of Christ, thats Idolatry.. and upon this the Whore and the Beasts kingdom will be JUDGED!

Through out the History of the Bible, who has ALWAYS persecuted the prophets and wise men and scribes sent by the Father? mmm thats not a political organization, nor a Govt, but its always been that which 'shows itself' as the real thing, yet in Apostasy... and evil.... Revelation 18 is a perfect 'picture' of the False Bride of Christ, the Whore that sitteth upon many waters.. her that presents herself to the gentile nations as the 'real thing'.. yet apostate driven by devil power.. oh indeed! Mystery Babylon, is the False church, the false Bride that moves in on Jerusalem after He that Lets is REMOVED, they will set up 'shop' here presenting the gentile Nations with a counterfeit kingdom of flesh,money, lavish living, sodom like in nature etc... promoting and buidling a global Eden, which will be Judged by the the Eternal One.. indeed! for God has put it INTO THEIR HEARTS to fulfill His will'.. indeed!
 
I view the harlotry of the RCC as being cut from the same template as the spiritual harlotry written of in the OT.
The similarities are incredible, but in a broad sense they are summarized by: focusing around religious culture rather than personal relationship, and being driven by spiritualized legalism.
Oddly enough, Islam is cut from the same template. Religious culture/ spiritualized legalism.

This is why I point to a more ancient religion as being the one referenced in Revelation: because of the word "mother".
RCC and Islam are spinoffs (daughters) of the ancient distortion of God's Word.
This ancient distortion survives today, and thrives in global political positions, media positions, and corporate positions.

Both Islam and RCC are bad because they take after their mother, who wrote the Talmud, developed astrology, dualism/stoicism, and turned the heart of Israel away from God and towards the false god of Judaism.

The template for all major religions come from the precepts of Zoastrianism, which was adopted by many of the Israelites. The blend of Zoroastrianism and the Word of God creates Judaism. Leaning to the left makes one Kabbalah. Leaning to the right makes one Hasidic.

With this ancient root in mind,
it is not out of line to wonder if RELIGION ITSELF is the mother of all harlotry, in the sense that all religions are false
except true religion of giving selflessly (which is not a religion by modern standards, but a mindset and lifestyle).

Religion is man's attempt to systematize and control our relationship with God, rather than simply having a relationship with Him. All religion is, at it's root, humanism.
 
All religions (other than the only true religion, which is charity) mix some good truth with lies.
Spiritually, that is harlotry. Taking the good things that God reveals to mankind through nature, conscience, and His Word,
and selling them out for something pleasing to the ear and gainful to the flesh.

When it comes to the Great Harlot, most take a "present" view of her, looking at the current forms of harlotry among the nations, and picking the one that they think is worst, and labeling it as her.

I fear it is both past, present, and future.
1. It was the harlotry of ancient Israel.
2. It is the harlotry we see today in RCC, Islam, Judaism, and all other religions.
3. It will be made manifest as a single united entity before the battle is won and over.

rcc catholicism has always been heresy - and anti-christ, and against the true believers and against the JEWS ....

whatever part islam and muslim etc play in the end time of the world, the rcc has always been evil, the child of hasatan, 'probably' without doubt the harlot and the mother of harlots, but even if not, still that completely evil and more.

the rcc hierarchy and leaders HAVE NEVER BEEN TRUE.
whenever any of them actually gets saved by grace through faith IN JESUS -=> they are summarily executed, excommunicated, and blacklisted fully and with total deception from the pope/rome/rcc authorities.

You fail to pick up the location of Mystery Babylon which is given in Rev 13. For all the faults of the RCC, they are not Mystery Babylon. Their numbers are roughly half to that of Islam. The RCC is not increasing in size and influence around the world, where Islam is. Islam is the anti-Christian religion with desires to kill Jews and Christians which is exactly what we are told they do and are doing today. The Catholics are not going around killing anyone.

Beheading is the preferred method that Islam employ to kills those who refuse to convert or practice other religions. Beheading is the way we are told those who do not worship the beast are killed. So Islam fits, the RCC does not.

John was taken to the wilderness/desert to see the "Great City - Babylon." Rome is not in the desert, Mecca is. We are told the merchants that mourn when Babylon falls will throw dust on their heads. Catholics and Italians do not mourn this way, Muslims do.

I've studied this topic extensively and Islam fits every single last description for Mother Babylon where the RCC only fits a few of them.
