Ok do you all ask Moses to pray for you, do you all ask... Abraham or Isaac, Jacob, Job, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Hosea, Habakuk, Malachi... Do you ask Adam, or Eve, or Ruth, Rahab, Deborah, Aaron, Do you all ask Elijah, Elisha, or king DAvid, or Solomon WOW what type of mess is this you all are saying... why is it that you can not hear or see what you are saying and doing. ALL these Men had deep personal relationships with the one true God.. and the woman used in a mighty service unto the glory of God... each and every one the Lord used in a mighty way... to bring forth His Promise.

Do you think he would skip over any of these men... for Peter.. who praise God is resting in the Lord.... who continually messed up and sinned..... Mark or Luke who are not Apostles, Praise God he used them to give and account of the life of our Lord Christ Jesus life on earth.... Neither was Jude, Titus, or Timothy. but yet you are so full of Idolatry, that the deil has you blind to common sence.

So please read the bible for yourself and not repeat the words of man over the Words of God. He talked to Moses face to face, He wrestled with Jacob and touched him with his own hands... yet would not the Lord rather we pray to FAITHFUL Abraham, before those who you all have picked and chose? WOW it is weird how and what people are willing to believe for the sake of their sins... hoping what man say is true to the point of believing a lie... as God said Strong delusions..... Yes he is the God of the living and not the dead... this is what Jesus said to the Scribes. when they said that Abraham was dead for hundreds of years and Jesus not even being 50 years yet.... so How can he say he lived before Abraham, and at the time of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.... These are those who the Law and the promises of God was brought forth... they was the ones who paved the way for the Lord to come into the world... I would think if God would... by any other name than Jesus... which there is no other Name given unto man... NOTHING BUT THE NAME OF JESUS, Shall be spoken to in God's face....

Oh Sorry, We must not be talking about the same God... Satan want to be as God, as if he could be God.... he has become your god.... for anything that is not the true doctrine of Jesus Christ... IS THE DOCTRINE OF MAN and Devils....

He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living! The saints in heaven are ALIVE. We are NOT worshiipping them, we are asking them to pray for us because they are in God's presence when they pray for us so their prayers are very powerful.

"Now about the dead rising--have you not read in the book of Moses, in the account of the bush, how God said to him, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!"

(Matthew 12:26-27 NIV)

But Jesus instructed the LIVING to pray TO GOD. Paul taught that WE can BOLDLY go before GOD.
Nobody taught otherwise, so it's ok?

How insulting it is to Jesus if we ask a dead person to pray for us. We're to go where THEY went: to God.

When Stephen was being stoned to death, did he pray (or ask) any dead person to pray for him?
To ask a dead person to pray for you is rebellion against God.

John 17, Christ is in you, is he not? why bypass him and pray to dead saint (when the bible tell us not to) that may or may not be in heaven. You do not know if they had Christ in them. They could of been the blind leading the blind. Are we not told not to contiplate who will accend and who will deccend. For all you know they heard.." I never knew you". We can judge the friut, only God can judge the man.

It amazes me how far we will go to avoid doing what we are simply told to do. How we will justify ourselves to do what we are not to do. when we sit down he is here, when we stand he is here. The kingdom of God is within us. We are to love, ask, seek, knock. Love the Lord with all our heart, love other as ourselves, love our enemies and be merciful as our father is merciful. Walk with him, talk with him, let him shape and mold us in to what he purposes us to be. but, we want to build huge alters. Parade around in flowing gowns, pray to dead people we consider more understanding then Christ. justify our sin. it amazes me. The gospel is simple, salvation a gift, purification, sanctification,Justification the work of God in us. Amazing all we will do to avoid the truth and exalt ourselves or someone else..We make things seen to represent our Lord, His kingdom is unseen and He asks us to follow by faith.

the question does the enemy bless to bind?

No, he manipulates. He puts forth what SEEM to be blessings for the sole purpose of keeping man away from God. Curses can APPEAR to be blessings, because Satan is a deceiver and manipulator wanting to keep all of mankind OUT of the kingdom of Heaven.

You just acknowledged they're alive, then call them dead? And we ask them to pray for us because as Saint Paul writes, "This is good and pleasing to God."

Know them by there fruit and how they bear it.

GOD bless my friends

Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are they God? Did they make a star? Did they make the moon? Pride makes you not admit your wrong. Get a real bible and read it. Before it's too late. The bible says not ot do it. That's it. It's agaisnt Gods will. So that means it's of Satan. You don't want to follow Satan right?

Huh? Paul was writing to LIVING people. He wasn't addressing dead people.

quit changing Scripture in order to justify your religion. instead, change yourself in order to justify God.

ALL Christians should have a concordance. And those on the internet need to put BibleGateway.com: A searchable online Bible in over 100 versions and 50 languages. into their favorites and use it.

Saints are believers, in OT and NT:

Dear friends, Saints is just another word for Church, Christians, believers, brethren, the elect, and the other terms Scripture uses for the righteous. The Bible reveals there is non righteous, no not one. But Christ is righteous, Christ alone. He imparts (imputes) His own righteousness to the believer who trusts in Him and in His shed blood and His resurrection to save the believer from his/her sins. It comes from faith, not works of righteousness which we perform. It comes through repentance, faith, baptism. Etc. It comes through the mercy of Christ. Only Christ's mercy for the repentant sinner saves. As people are in this world, all of them, all of us, have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Saints are just forgiven sinners, sinners forgiven by Jesus Christ. Christ gives believers, through faith in Him, the power to repent and believe and do good works. Christ saves. The repentant sinner cooperates with God's grace. And it is all God's grace, from start to finished. Christ accomplished it all for our salvation on the cross when He said, "It is finished!" (KJV, tetelestai). In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

The bible explicitly commands us to ask our fellow Christians to pray for us. Why do you seem to think it's a sin to do so?

The true saints of God are the ones HE choose, shed his blood for and revealed himself to by his power, might, love, grace and mercy. No other can obtain nor merit nor approach him, unless he alone reveals himself thru his spirit. No amount of pleading, quoting scriptures, nor anything else you or anyone else does can open your eyes and ears so you can hear him. Then you can sing that new song which is Jesus Christ did it all, and thank him for his mercy and his grace, now and forever. WE serve an amazing God. Give him ALL the credit.
