the Gospel must be Spiritually discerned 1 Cor 2:14

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Cor 2:14 relates to the mystery, the hidden wisdom spoken of in 1 Cor 2:7.

Scripture tells us the mystery ...

was kept secret since the world began (Rom 16:25)

in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men (Eph 3:4-5)

hid from ages and from generations, but now made known (Col 1:26)

And according to Eph 3:9, the mystery from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God.

The Gospel is the Gospel and the Gospel is revealed in Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.

The mystery is the mystery and the mystery was hid in God until God revealed the mystery to Paul.

Your problem is that you conflate the mystery, the hidden wisdom with the Gospel.

nope ... the Gospel is the Gospel ... the mystery, the hidden wisdom is the mystery, the hidden wisdom.

Under examination of the full light of Scripture, your erroneous dogma falls apart as explained to you in
Post 3074.

Your manipulation of Scripture does not change the truth of Scripture. 1 cor 2:14 relates to the mystery, the hidden wisdom.

Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive

There is no escaping it, 1 Cor 2:14 is saying that the Gospel, the preaching of the Cross cannot be understood by the Natural man, its foolishness to him, because it must be spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 1:18

18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Thats the same foolishness here 1 Cor 2:14
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The natural man and the unregenerate man that perish, which means lost, are in the same spiritual condition.

Your problem is that you continue to manipulate the truth of Scripture in your futile effort to align Scripture with your erroneous dogma. That is improper interpretation of Scripture. You are to align your dogma to Scripture and where you are in error, let go of the error.

 the fact that both verses contain the word "foolishness" does not change the Gospel into the mystery, the hidden wisdom.

As you have been shown, until God revealed the mystery, the hidden wisdom to Paul, the mystery, the hidden wisdom was hid in God from the foundation of the world. If the mystery, the hidden wisdom had been revealed, the devil never would have crucified the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor 2:8).

The mystery, the hidden wisdom was hid in God until after the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven.

Yet the Gospel is revealed in Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.

You have again failed to establish your erroneous claim.

1 Cor 2:14 tells us the natural man cannot receive the Gospel, its foolisness to him, it must be spiritually discerned.

John Gill writes of 1 Cor 2:14

receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: not the things relating to the deity, personality, and perfections of the Holy Spirit, though these the natural man knows not, nor receives; nor the things done by him, particularly the operations of his grace on the souls of men in regeneration, concerning which he says, as Nicodemus did, "how can these things be?" but the truths of the Gospel before spoken of; so called, because they are contained in the Scriptures edited by the Spirit of God, are the deep things of God, which he searches into and reveals; and because they are made known by him, who is given and received for that end and purpose, that the saints might know them; and because they are delivered by the preachers of the Gospel, in words which he teacheth; now these the natural man receives not in the love of them, so as to approve of and like them, truly to believe them, cordially embrace them, and heartily be subject to them, profess and obey them, but on the contrary abhors and rejects them:

Notice how he speaks of ungodliness in the past tense ? He’s not saying feel free to keep living that way because of grace of you continue on in those epistles you find instruction that leads to repentance and right living fulfilling the promise of righteousness by faith

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge ( hearing and believing the gospel of the kingdom )
after the image of him that created him:

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:5-10, 12-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the instructions about repenting from our old sinful ways and doing the new things walking in the good works the gospel sets before us is part of it all.

you have made good post here , I think if you let the rest of those epistles into your belief it will change what “ grace and faith “ means into a powerful effectual changing of the sinner into a child of God in deed and truth
Always a high quality assessment of the situation as far as I’ve seen!

the god of this world is satan and, yes, in agreement that satan works to obscure the Gospel so descendants of Adam end up with him in the lake of fire.

satan has always worked to thwart God's purposes ... all the way back to Adam and Eve.

The Gospel was not hid from anyone ... including satan. The Gospel has been proclaimed throughout all of history.

satan knew the Gospel, yet he worked to crucify the Lord Jesus Christ.

satan did not know the mystery, the hidden wisdom and if he had known the mystery, the hidden wisdom, Scripture tells us satan would never have crucified the Lord Jesus Christ.
