The Jews, our brothers from which the first covenant and salvation came from and the tree to which we are rooted/grated into, long ago had a choice, follow God and keep GOD as their king. Or follow man, they chose not to listen to Samuel, a foreshadowing of Christ, and wanted a physical King on earth. One they could touch and see. “Relate to” and relate to other nations by. For they had no faith nor seeking to understand how all powerful God is and who He is.
Man, always wants to put man between them and God. They want to be controlled and bow down, but not by God. Thus making themselves their own God. This is the same with religion. Where man feels they are the shepard, that they must lead. Who becomes find themselves become weary and tired. As if it is their burden/yoke to carry and by their power and work is what saves man. Even pronouncing how they preached, how they baptized, how they lead. No, it is God who preaches through God’s disciples, to make more disciples unto God not onto themselves as religion does, it is God who touches the hearts of man to listen and change. Can man make a seed? Can man make the sun or the water? No, It is God who forgives and saves man. Not by man’s words or emotional music. All glory is God’s and God’s alone!
Once you meet and know the Father and the Father teaches you about Him. You know then, it is not you who saves. It is not you who have sheep or Shepard, that they should follow you. You are one of many brothers and sisters who should point all sheep to praise and seek the Father through the Christ, Lord Jesus for themselves. For only there, will you find Him. For it is He and only He who saves. Who knows His sheep and they know Him. Or you can seek your earthy king, who will lead you and die. So you too shall be lead and die.
But… God…. Let your testimony of salvation be your testament to touch the hearts of man. Not telling them they are a sinner. By proxy of your testimony of being a sinner yourself unto true salvation then the true seed can be planted by hands not of man and cultivated by hands not of man. The seed which convicts, that opens faith unto true salvation. Man cannot save man, man cannot convict man. Only the Father, through His Son, the Christ, can save man. Giving him rebirth is the Spirit and baptism with fire.
