This is only my third thread. I have learned a lot from everyone. My first thread felt like a tar and feathering party, and I was the guest of honor. Haha very funny. I still believe what I believe on that topic, but I just didn't feel this kind of discourse. I'm hoping that some my detractors can see that there may be hope for me too, that I'm not so totally starved from the Holy Spirit, that I'm not a total heretic. I know I can think outside the box and come across as absolutely mad, but its just my passion.

Yes, because Abraham recognized "him" which is why he gave him a tenth...

Remember he also said to that "other king"/(King of Sodom) that he (Abraham) had made an oath to GOD that he would not give any of the men to that "other king" (King of Sodom)?

And yet, here Abraham recognizes King of Salem, and Priest of GOD most HIGH and gives Him a portion...
 
Not everyone recognizes THE KING from that "other King"...

Which is the problem that remains even to this very day....

abraham did a work in leaving all men's fate to GOD when he said, let each man receive his portion...
And still, Abraham would not give over any men to that 'other king" which he recognized as NOT....THE KING and PRIEST of GOD most high!

I am a father of four, and have experience with them. I also remember how hungry I was for spiritual thing, when I was a baby in Christ. I would only encourage them to read their bibles. They are saved only because they were drawn by the Father to His Son, as shown in John 3:16. We need to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. They can't stay babies forever. I believe a storm is coming very soon, and the time for talking will come to an end. We will have to put up or shut up. We are all in this together, and our God has not abandoned us as orphans. Remember: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, sayerh the Lord. The babies will be just fine. God is watching over them.

Moving on, Its fine to debate issues like these with other Christians. But we need to realize many on here are probably not Born again Christians and have no clue what we are talking about.

I feel we need to focus our topics on bringing the Truth to those who do not know Jesus and those who are caught up in a false Church that teaches lies and not the Truth.

Maybe what we need is a new chat room just only for the discussion of very deep and complex Doctrines for those who have walked with Jesus for a long period of time. Or a new chat room just for those new in Christ or are looking for Christ.

The TRUTH that there are those outside THE BODY and there are those inside THE BODY...

Babies who are IN CHRIST will be safe.
Babies outside of CHRIST, to whom we were called to preach THE GOSPEL are the ones who can't stomach "meat" before FIRST tasting THE MILK of THE WORD of TRUTH...

Before I became a Christian, any talk of Jesus and of my sin and the absolute need in my life for a savior, it was offensive to me.
Why was it offensive? Because I did not have the mind of Christ. I was at war with the God of heaven. That wasn't the problem with Christians, that was my problem. It would still be my problem, if God had not drawn me to His Son.
We do the unbelievers no service by guarding their ears from hearing these things.

I didn't read it because copy/pasting someone else's work seems redundant, at best. (Plagiarism actually, but at least you attributed when you plagiarized. I am assuming you thought it was okay to take, just as long as you attributed. It's not usually.) Including all the shortcuts (Top, [...], and arbitrary phrase that mean nothing to me without the original site's hyperlinks still attach) became somewhere between annoying and useless.

How is "meat" the BETTER PART?

It really isn't...
If one doesn't have the BETTER PART, no amount of "Meat" will do for him what only "THE BETTER PART" can do...

and that is wash the man...

Why do you think the ones that opened this chat room, did so?
If every thread could be 100% milk gospel only would you please start that thread, I would love to see what it looks like. No, really! I'm not being sarcastic. Just growing tired of offending you. That is not my purpose, or my desire. I don't see how discussion on deeper topics, is some how mean or bad or sin. This is a Christian chat room. I would be surprised to find that non believers find anything of interest in here. I have never had someone say I'm not a Christian, but can we just talk, at least not in here. Please explain how you would word things if you could be the only source of control over this chat room.
Isn't it enough to be the salt of the earth? This chat room is here for a number of reasons, just as we are, just as the bible is. We can love God with all our heart, all of our strength, all of our mind and all of our soul and still have other pursuits. We have freedom in Christ, not bondage to any man or any woman. I don't know if I can write the words that convey what is in my heart, but I have tried to do it respectfully. Peace in Christ.

That GOD from the beginning from the anundance of HIS GRACE. Knew our limited humanity. That ever and always we need signs and lower visible images and representations to understand All HIS HIGHER and Hidden and invisible TRUTHS and HE graciously provided us sign upon sign. Rearing us up to know HIM so that at the fullness of time when the body HE
had prepared from the beginning before the world ever was might come forth to do HIS WILL we would look back and understand that all along HE spoke of and pointed us to JESUS

Every priest every prophet every judge ever King. Every word of scripture spoken in s hidden and veiled way spoke of HIS SON. And the testimony of JESUS is the SPIRIT of Prophecy and all these shadows are simply all the realities found in CHRIST JESUS


if you do not mention that beforehand it implies that Jesus is simply just another manifestation of GOD and that there are other manifestations of God in this particular thread melchizadek being another manifestation but that isn't true

melchizadek was simply just another one of those temporary signs pointing us to CHRIST

Can't you finish off that verse?
The Love of CHRIST compels us?

What does it say directly after that?
And for what purpose was the LOVE of CHRIST poured out into our hearts but to preach CHRIST and the MESSAGE of THE CROSS to ALL men...it is this current ministry of reconciliation which GOD has entrusted to those whom HE has called as WITNESSES to "go" and preach the TRUTH of THE GOSPEL of THE SON...

Melchizedek was king of Salem,which is king of peace,and the priest of the most high God,who blessed Abraham,who Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils of a war he was involved in,tithes,before the Leviticus priesthood.

The Bible says He was without father,without mother,without descent,having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Jesus is not Melchizedek incarnate,and Jesus is not Melchizedek at all,but a priest after the order of Melchizedek,or His priestly office,that exceeds the Leviticus priestly office.

Melchizedek is a bodily manifestation of God,for He is without father,or mother,having neither beginning of days,or end of life,but Melchizedek is not a permanent bodily manifestation of God.

Jesus is the only permanent manifestation of God,and the only bodily manifestation of God,born of a woman,and the only begotten Son of God.

Melchizedek was a temporary manifestation of God,a bodily manifestation made from the dust of the earth,which God appeared the same way to Abraham,with two of His angels,on another occasion.
