Wait im confused...so if youre saying the fact that it says youre married is supposed to repel creepers, but the creepers arent the ones that will bother.

i'm single. aight? i just get far less private messages from strangers when it says i'm married and i'm not for sale on the internet. so.

haha, the lengths you all go through to avoid creepers. Im glad that as I guy I normally don't have to deal with this, though I have had a creeper female once or twice.

Yeah, I've never had that issue. I don't think I've even had anyone interested in me.

well on cc it's a big deal if you're in the chatrooms a lot. everyone's hunting. i got like a ton of creepers. now? less.

But you dont even have a pic...sigh I dont think Ill ever understand people on the internet...

Nautilus, was that directed at me? I have an avatar on other forums but I'm not sure how to do it on this forum.

he was talking to me. like why would people creep on me even without a picture. and my answer is simply this: i don't know. but even when i have some google model person up the foreigners still assume its a picture of myself. lol

Creepers don't need reasons to creep. You're female, and that's probably enough for them. Anyway, this topic sure has evolved a lot...or rabbit trailed...

I like to cuddle with my Gizmo Gremlin teddy-bear (which I've had since childhood).

I call him Gizmo "Mr. Snuggles" Bartholomew!!!

Matthew, you disappointed me with this post; I thought I knew you better than that :(. It's not "Gizmo and I"; it's "Gizmo and me".

It helps to remove the other person/object, Keren. It would be "you should see me...", so adding Gizmo doesn't change it =).

Jilly81 has correctly analyzed this situation. Though syntactically the word 'I' seems to sound better, the reality holds to the usage of the word 'me'.

For instance, you wouldn't say, "Hand that remote to I." It sounds strange. Well, in the same way, if you add another person(s), object(s), or general noun, the grammar remains unchanged.

Ex: "Please hand the remote to Lillian and me."

I was going to go with "Gizmo and Me" but I felt that would sound too much like a made-up cliched Hollywood movie.

So I went with the more formal "Gizmo and I" to increase its believability!!! (Did it work???)

I think you need to make it "THE Gizmo and I", Matthew. That sounds the most serious.

My mom and I often exchange glances when we listen to the news; those reporters get it wrong constantly. Listen to Reece, everyone! Or listen to me; I know these things as well. See? NOT "listen to I".

i don't think i believe you yet :D is gizmo a name? i think when you're saying someone and yourself are about to perform a verb. you use i!!! i am back in 8th grade english right now trying to remember what mrs. roupe told me!
