So here's the deal im 23 and everyone will tell me im still young which is one of the most annoying things you can say to me for the record. So ive been single for 3 years and every time i get close to a girl and think that something is gonna happen something happens and it all derails and we loose contact or she always decides that she isn't interested. I made a pact with myself and God that I wouldnt date a non christian because I dont feel that will help me but im seriously re considering that decision these days because most Christian Girls seem to be messed up!!

The obvious answer is you're still single because you haven't got a girlfriend.

But assuming it's not a trick question, my advice would be to say rubbish to the lot of them. Just stay single and be contented with that. The irony is of course, that as soon as you're comfortable just being single, you'll immediately become more attractive to the opposite sex.

I was content for about a year and now im getting stressed out with it again its annoying the hell out of me!!!

I don't know then. The whole courting scene really isn't my forte. Have you tried smoking cigarettes? Smoking makes you look cool so maybe that'd help reel them in?

The Word says "He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him", not those who diligently seek a wife. If your God chosen spouse is so wonderful and perfect beyond imagination, isn't she worth waiting for? The other option is getting stuck with someone you're not sure you even like. So flip a coinif you must, but decide which one is worth it.

I made that decision when I was 15, I figured as a teenager there is no need for such drama. Just like you said, as soon as I was comfortable with being single I had several girls interested in me. It made things complicated. It's been that way the past 5 years, so I guess since I've now graduated I am open to a relationship but I won't let anyone on to that fact or it might ruin the streak lol.

I agree though that being content with your relationship status is the best way to go. No guy likes a desperate girl, no girl likes a desperate guy...not to say you're desperate. Also I think being content with your status adds to the way people see you...when I was dating I acted different then when I wasn't. So I really think there is a noticeable difference.

ITS YOUR KIDS!

"That's the POWER of LOVE! Dont need money, dont need fame, dont need no credit card to ride this train"

To answer you seriously dont date a non Christian. They may seem less crazy and tollerable but they'll mess you up. You'll compromise your relationship with God and you'll start doing things you shouldnt then end up depressed and upset and torn. Its so much less painful than actually doing the right thing. Plus God wont shake his head and you wont feel so guilty.

A few people in this thread said that many Christian girls are crazy. What exactly do you mean? Are they crazy for believing in God? My question is, are people less crazy for believing that the universe just appeared one day by chance?

If you are content dating non Christians, that says something about what is more important to you, God (i.e. meaning of life) or some girl with who you have little in common.

Edit: LOL maddog you beat me to it.

I am 28 years old but I am still single.Maybe I am working hard so I don't have time off to love.today I feel sad and lonely

Aye, I'm 23 and never been kissed. The closest I've come to exchanging saliva with a lass is when I let one young woman in a bar have a go of me pipe.

God's will, maybe he has you best where you are single right now. I know singleness isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but believe me. Being patient leads to great things.

I am coming to a point where I am accepting my singleness right now, because I am growing into a relationship with God that is built on love and trust. I trust that God will continue to show me this love, it's so beautiful once you stop being anxious about it, because chasing love instead of accepting it from God, is like chasing after the wind.

I have been single for the past *ahem* fewwwww years...(ok, over 10) and yes, I most certainly do have my times of frustration and loneliness! Im sure God is sick of me praying about it too!! LOL. Im 35 btw.

The main thing I can say is = seek GOD first in all things! Seriously, fall in love with Jesus and then the right girl will have to seek the Lord to find you! Sounds corny, but, ultimately, if you cant be content as a single, you wont be content in a relationship either because she will not complete you either. Am I saying I have got it all together on this subject? NO! I am preaching as much to myself as you! hahaha.

We must trust in the promises of God found in his word like - Jeremiah 29:11 for instance. The Lord knows the desires of your heart. Ask him to give you a vision for your future and look for ways to serve him right where you are now!

God bless.

so basically your all telling me to carry on waiting....
christian girls tend to play you around more and dont actually kno how to commnicate!!!
