MY QUESTION IS WHY ARE PEOPLE REJECTING THE LORDS WILL. WE CARRY OUR BAGS AND SAY WE ARE GOING TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY. SATURDAY HAS NOW BECOME A DAY OF PARTING AND SOCIAL EVENS. WHY? Someone please answer.

Sunday is not the sabbath. People who fixate on the sabbath glory in the day that marks the end of the old creation. Those who worship on Sunday glory in the day that marks the beginning of the new creation...

It takes a careful study of history of the first 500 years of the church, along with reading what the early church Father's wrote. It is basically a story of how gentiles and Jews relate to each other.

For thousands of years, before Christ, gentiles were almost always pagans, and altho many Jews joined pagans, the only ones who followed God were Jews. God taught them His principles through teaching them to do certain things. Christ had died for sins in eternal time, but not in our time so they used animal blood for forgiveness as a symbol. They didn't eat scavenger animals as a symbol of keeping clean in spirit, they were circumcised as a symbol of becoming spiritual. Saturday worship was part of this. If pagans like Ruth, wanted to become followers of God they were required to become Jews and accept all these customs. Often they didn't know why they were performing these things. This went on for thousands of years.

When Christ was crucified, there were hundreds who wanted to be Christians. You read in Acts how terrible it was for the Jews to figure out what to do about all of that. They said at least those pagans have to do enough things so they would be allowed in the synagogue so they can learn about God and Christ. Some of the Jews said absolutely not, they have to be Jews and do the entire bit. Lots of our NT epistles are Paul reporting what God had to say about that. But still, the converted pagans worshiped on Saturday mostly.

In 72 Rome destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem. The Jews rebelled, and in 132 the Romans went into Jerusalem and killed thousands and thousands of Jews. Jews were either dead or left Jerusalem, and the Jewish leaders of the church were all gone. Gentiles became leaders. Most of the Jews still living were not Christians, the Christian Jews were pretty much gone. The pagans were used to Sunday worship, not Saturday worship. When they established their own meeting places, it was usually on the Sunday they were used to. The church leaders began writing about those terrible Jews, how they all were responsible for killing Christ.

Then along came a Roman ruler (Constantine) who made Christianity legal. He hated the Jews, but Christians were OK. He opened up the world to Christianity. But he told all the pagans they weren't to worship their Gods any longer, now they were to worship Christ. He had to make this acceptable to them or he would have rebellion on his hands. He gave us the Nicene Creed, and united the Christians into one religion, establishing Christ as God. But he changed all our holidays so they would be acceptable to the pagans and so we would be rid of the Jews Constantine hated. Before, Christianity was an outgrowth of what the world had knows as the one true God, now it was a new religion. So we have Easter, Christmas, and Sunday for Sabbath, and the Jewishness has been taken out of our worship.

The history of this from 325 on is fascinating, with church councils most years, and a wonderful history of the Jews. Our churches are still reflecting Constantine more than Paul.

As the one fella stated; this has been discussed repeatedly and continually on many different threads. I personally keep sabbath on the 7th day of the week. There's sites you can look at that represent the for's and against's keeping sabbath on Saturday very well. I'd suggest you visit those if you want to study this and then decide which way you feel you should go. However, I'd definitely NOT recommend that you try to gain any understanding from this site on this issue. There are people that present the why's of keeping the sabbath on the 7th day of the week very well, but others will just stomp all over it until you're so confused you can't see straight, which yeah, that's the purpose. All you'll end up seeing is a huge argument where nether side will give an inch no matter what's presented. It's exhausting. Again, this is something you should search out and decide for yourself between you and God.

This what the bible says:

16Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. Colossians 2:16

This passage is very clear to all but the spiritually blind. We are free to worship on any day we see fit. Those who say this is not so are in disagreement with this scripture.

Jesus was a foreshadowing of everything in the Torah, even the Mosaic law. We stopped our work in sin and entered the rest of Jesus. Whether people want to be legalistic and claim I sin out of ignorance towards resting in the Lord and having Sunday worship. Then tell me who is the real legalistic critic?

If you are going to keep the jewish law, you must do so completely, not partially.

10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. James 2:10

So if you want to keep the Sabbath, then you must also obey all 613 mitzvot (laws). This means:
You can not wear clothing of mixed fibers.
No sex during a woman's cycle.
Single women who have been raped, must marry the rapist.
You must not charge any interest on loans.
To not work for a full year during the year of Jubilee.
Release all loans, once every seven years.
Gentiles must never enter your home and vice versa.
Only eat kosher meats.
Never bow down on smooth stone to pray.
Never make a human form.
Never make a promise with an idolator.
Men must not shave the sides of thier hair.
Women must not wear men's clothing.
Install a mezuzah on all door posts in your house.

...and all the rest of the law.

So if you wear pants or clothes made of a blended fiber than you are not keeping the law. It is very silly to keep only a part of the law.

We are in the seventh day, andso basically we all should be putting God before anyone or anything at all times; and by doing this, it is called true worshipping and which you are putting God on a pedestal above all things.

Matthew 15:9They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’”

Christ rose form the dead late Saturday afternoon about sunset...

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

The decree went forth in 457BC. 69 weeks = 483 days. 483 days = 483 years (Num 14:34 and Ezek 4:6. Let's add 483 years to 457BC and we come to 27AD (there is no year zero). Christ's ministry lasted 3-1/2 years...

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

And this is born out by the eyewitness accounts of the Gospels.

So, fall of 27AD + 3-1/2 years brings us to the spring of 31AD. Christ was crucified on the Passover of 31AD. The Passover of 31AD was on Wednesday, April 25. Christ was entombed at about sunset on the Passover.

How long was Christ in the tomb?

Mat 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Mat 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Three days and three nights later Christ arose. From sunset Wednesday evening to sunset Saturday evening is three days and three nights.

Jesus Christ said the only sign He would give that He is the Messiah would be the length of time He was in the tomb, three days and three nights.

Wanna show me some scripture that shows the change of the day of worship from the Sabbath to the day of the Sun?

That is not the day and the early church would be the Catholic church at the council of Nicea in 325AD. Follow whom you will.

Uh, lemme see here...

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

This was done 2,500 years before the first Jew ever walked the face of the earth.

The fourth Commandments harkens back to creation week...

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

this was done in creation week. Again, this was 2,500 years before a Jew was ever born.

P.S. as far as not being able to remember the chapter, I can see that. You have quoted no scripture to support your position, you have only repeated statements you have heard from someone else.
