Then God said, Let us make man in our own image in our likeness, let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.

yes we are made in God's image and sin has destroyed that image of God in us and that is why we need to to God in love and turn from our sins, hate our sins.

We are here to live the life that God has given us from birth until death. We relinquished the paradise that was given to us through disobediance, therefore making life much more difficult to live. We are servants just like the heavenly host. Our lives are supposed to be dedicated to the uplifting of His holyname. Through our tounges and our actions we are supposed to praise and worship Him.

Sin did not destroy our image, for we still appear as men (and woman), rather, Adam lost HIS (the LORD'S) Likeness, which is Light (Ez1:26-28; 1Jn1:5)! But for the faithful few, they will awake (be resurrected) with HIS LIKENESS (Ps15) and appear as HE IS.

I never said our image was destroyed...I said God's image in us was destroyed..I hope you do not make a regular habit of misquoting people
