God NEVER vindicated Israel.
Interesting :)

For the LORD will vindicate His people and will have compassion on His servants. Psalm 135:14

Jeremiah 51:10 "'The LORD has vindicated us; come, let us tell in Zion what the LORD our God has done.'

Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God, for He has given you the autumn rains
for your vindication. He sends you showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.
Joel 2:23

ok, so here is an example of translational exception.

In many translations the scripture portions you quoted use other words to describe God's mercy and recognition of the needs of His people Israel. Words like 'righteousness', 'faithfully' and 'compassion' are a few of those words.

The English word 'vindicate' has several meanings, which is why there's a difference of opinion among translators. It's used most often to mean 'justify' or 'justification'. On rare occasions, it can also mean 'protect' or 'to regain possession' or 'redeem'.

When American politics is part of the discussion, 'vindicate' implies a sort of implicit denial of wrong doing on the part of the nation. Political vindication suggests God condones or disregards the SINs of the people and their government. He most certainly does not.

This is my point. The word vindicate has been politicized or corrupted so as to imply divine assent to America regardless of our SINs and wickedness. It takes God and God's righteousness out of the equation and puts man, or rather the human political system, on the throne of heaven instead.

This is not the meaning scripture or God intends. How do we know this? We know it by the general context or theme or flavor of scripture. God NEVER justifies nations. He ALWAYS justifies the LAW, which is the definition of SIN and right living before the Kingdom of Heaven.

I hope this helps. Beware those who politicize Biblical principles. Quoting scripture doesn't make wrong things right. It doesn't make a demi-god of a lying politician either.

that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

God justifies people by grace through faith in the shed righteous blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
