Why do some "Christians" acts deliberately nasty? Are they saved?

I have seen that some "Christians"hurt others, especially on social- networking sites. Why do they do that? If they had love of GOD in them will they mistreat the other parts of Christ? I mean lies, slander, abuse, anger, quarrel, etc makes me think that they are of satan. Some of them act worse than the unsaved.

What does the Bible say about this? I am not talking about works here but about the fruits.

I cant speak to their salvation because i dont know their heart, meaning i would take their word for it. That being said, they are fallible sinful humans just like all of us. Their sin stands in stark contrast to others because of their profession of faith, and the expectations we have with that.

because they profess themselves to be your christian brothers, you should rebuke them to repentance.

We all come to Christ with different backgrounds, cultures and understandings of God. That means some people come with a strong background of who Christ is, and how he expects us to act. They may have been living in a godly home, with parents who raised them to understand the love of God, and how Christ expects us to treat one another. They can be shining examples probably from the beginning of how to be God's hands and feet in this world.

Others may come from abusive homes. They may have learned to defend themselves with nastiness and even physical strength. God has a big job changing these people, and it is probably going to come gradually, with much repentance, weeping and help from the Christian community.

Others barracade themselves behind being cruel or nasty, so they do not get hurt. Their hearts are hard, despite their relationship with God. God has a lot of work to do to move these people to a place of putting others before themselves.

But he will do it! He does change hearts and lives - one piece, one person, one step at a time. Sometimes it takes a long time to see that fruit. It may seem like the person is not changing.

But if they are truly saved, God is transforming them by the power of his Holy Spirit. I know there were times in my Christian walk that I looked like I was doing well. But it was me acting! Then there came a period where I was a nagging, angry shew. I was hurting, had unresolved conflict from my youth, my marriage, and work was also adding to my stress. My husband told me many times I wasn't a Christian. I was, but I needed God to really change me! I went from being an hypocritical actress to showing the real hurting me, and it wasn't pretty. It was part of the breaking process to remold me back into the treasure God had created.

Then God really let me fall, and used it for his glory. He gathered me back and the Holy Spirit began an incredible work! God showed me how hurting I was, and that I was not the only one! He reconciled me to my birth family. He taught me to be the one who reached out in love.

I marvel each day at how far God has brought me. And how he changed my husband, and has given us both his peace.

You need to look at these nasty people and ask "How can I help them?" "How can I be a friend?" If they resist you, there is a point you do need to move on. But instead of making their behaviours about you, or even about God, why not be someone God can use to be a friend to those who are hurting?

Yeah...I'm not a big fan of making huge judgements about people that I don't really know. Nor am I fan of pretending "fruit inspection" based on the very small slice of people we see on the internet.

There are some basic truths at work with some of the nasty comments:
1. Hurt people hurt others
2. Shame begets shaming

There are a lot of people walking around feeling like they are inherently unworthy of love and belonging. Many of these people are part of the Church. Because of these feelings, they create situations wherein they are rejected, which only reinforces their ideas that they "don't fit in" and are unworthy of love and belonging.

The antidote for this kind of stuff is not "tough love" or "fruit assessment," it's empathy. All the defensiveness and "my spirituality is better than yours" posturing is a cover for deep insecurity and a desperate need for belonging.

So, how about we embrace these folks as brothers and sisters in Christ? How about we just love them even though they are like cacti or porcupines? Seriously, the early church martyrs were eaten by lions, so is it really that hard for us to sacrifice our need to dish out verbal spank-yous and offer up some grace to them instead. I know I desperately need a Savior. How can I, who have been forgiven so much, turn around and keep an account for the small offenses others may commit against me?

Most people who claim to be Christian are actually followers of the false Christ. False Christianity is way larger than true Christianity, the only way to know a true Christian from a fake Christian is by their fruit... genuine love, peace, joy etc.

What do the Bible said of ppl registered saying one age, when those were born on 1979?

Luk 8:17 For there is nothing secret, which will not be made clear, nor is there anything hidden, which will not be known and be brought into plain sight.

What do the Bible said when ppl hide their inner emotions, their feelings, same way they hid their faces while lying?

Mat 18:6 But whoever will have led astray one of these little ones, who trust in me, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck, and to be submerged in the depths of the sea.

What do the Bible said when those who are hurting ppl with words of iron, are making their "victims" stronger and wiser?

Num 35:16 If anyone will have struck someone with iron, and he who was struck will have died, then he shall be guilty of homicide, and he himself shall die.

Yet Paul makes it clear that most of them are saved. Sometimes christians can be pretty terrible people. Thank God for saving us from our from ourselves, forgiving our transgressions, and giving us a new heart and helper in the Holy Spirit. The Lord also gives us brethren to keep us accountable and live godly lives, as well as to reproach and help us back up when we fail.

I am not pretending to be teen right? I added 50 years to my original age as I was being STALKED by my EX-BOYFRIEND when I joined here.

I joined here as I wanted to know what Christians say about my situation as I had to know IF I have to give chances to him. I was scared. I felt like being hunted. So naturally I gave a different age. Kindly understand. Later on I tried to change my DOB but that option is not available (it says while joining that we can't change later). I am OKAY being an old woman here.

If he is stalking you (understand i have a preconceived notion of what stalking is so until more facts are given im going off that) then go to the police.

Thank you for understanding. I went through crap last year. It is all okay now.

I had some severe problem after he realized that I moved on. Then he got suicidal. I remained a friend and did what a friend should do. Prayed lots for him. He realized that he wanted me to stay not out of love but in hurt and pride, and that he wasn't my friend at all.

Now we are true friends. God can change anything!
