Read Psalm 150. We don't merely worship God for His excellent greatness. We also worship Him for His mighty works. If you are really really froggy, you might even worship Him for all His ways.btw I love the Lord for who He is, I don't much care what He does as I know it will always be the best for me even if it's something I don't like.
Weren't you suppose to give a compliment first?![]()
See Psalm 150.If you perceive Him correctly, you should love the Lord for who and what he is.
Not for what he does for you...
I gave you a thumbs up. Were you not encouraged? He did. He complimented himself before posting.

You have consistently added to a question I asked. The question was simply do you worship God for the the things He has done for you? Either you do or you don't.I never "merely" worship God at all. Our Lord was not looking forward to the Cross but he was overjoyed about being reunited with His Father. If one's love for the Lord begins with what he does for them, they will come to grief. Our praise for what He does ought to come out of our love for who He is.
Hebrews 12:2
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy that was set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

It was never my intention to question whether you worship God. My apologies.
Grace and peace.
