Why do we go through problems? We suffer the aftermaths that ensue the sins of the listless rabble that live where we abide.

  • “Surely against me is he turned; he turns his hand against me all the day. My flesh and my skin has he made old; he has broken my bones.” (Lamentations 3.3,4).

At first this can sound unjust. Israel sinned and the outcomes that came upon Israel was felt by Jeremiah. Nevertheless, two things needs to be understood:

First: it isn't because our society is dive in the sin more and more (fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 24.19,20) that we need to sink together.

See these excerpts:

  • “When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue fails for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.” (Isaiah 41.17,18) – *the Creator didn’t take the person of the desert, but turn it into a oasis.*
  • In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive:…” (John 7.37-39) – *Jesus don’t give a cup of water to the careworn and athirst person, but make him into rivers of living water.*
  • “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3.14,15) – *The Creator didn’t hear the prayer of Moses (the Creator didn’t remove the ghastly serpents), but provide a symbol of Christ in order to teach us that there are moments wherein must look to Christ and wait for Him (2Chronicles 20.17; Psalms 46.10; Isaiah 17.47; Hebrews 12.1,2).*
  • “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2Corinthians 4.6) - *the Creator doesn’t take away from the gruesome murkiness, but lit His light (Jesus – John 8.12; 9.5) in the person (Matthew 5.14-16).*

So, don’t whine amidst the problems. Leave Jesus show Himself stalwart in your life:

  • “For the eyes of the LORD run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” (2Chronicles 16.9).
