Seeking after the things that comfort only the flesh, will result in a continuous need to repeat that comfort. GOD has bought us a way out of that thinking with a sacrifice of blood through his only son.
Therefore seek first his kingdom that lies within each of us but can't be heard because of the loudest desire in our hearts mind and spirits. The loudest desire and spirit overtakes our minds and bodies making us go after things that produce repetitve failure.
Satan dangles our deepest desires infront of us like candy, and because of the unforgettable taste being so sweet we intensely put all we are into chasing that dream or thought and leave lacking, GODS purpose for our lives.
GOD didn't intend for us all to be doctors and lawyers, HE surely didn't intend for us all to be rich but because we have looked through our eyes and saw the candies of anothers household and their lifestyles this is what we seek after.
So if you put the world and it's treasures in the place of your HEAVENLY FATHER then the world and it's treasures become your heavenly father. You cannot serve two masters either you will hate the one and love the other or be devoted to the one and despise the other.
So when failure comes and destruction comes when bills are overwhelming and you can't see clearly what to do, and you have prayed for GOD to remove or help or whatever you need to eliminate your distress!!!!!! Ask yourself this was my FATHER in HEAVEN in the beginning of my ordeal or in the end.
