I chose my handle, "sinnomorePTL" because I believe that once we have turned our lives over to Jesus Christ, He gives us the ability to to sin no more.

Do I still sin, of course I do. Now however, I have no excuse. God has given me all I need to defeat any and all temptation that comes my way. But still, unfortunitly I choose to sin, making excuses, justyfying, saying , He wouldn't really mind, just this once.

The problem now though is that I know better, He does mind, there is no excuse, I don't have to sin any more.
I find I do a lot less sinning.

I was working on a computer, and had been for two days straight. A nice young man came to the door and was trying to sell my wife a computer service, she told him she was not interested repeatedly. I got off the floor (from fixing the computer that someones service had let a virus nearly ruin) and yelled loudly at this unfortunite young man to just shut up, we didn't want what he was selling and go away. I am sure I scared this poor young man.

My wife told me later, that she was actually enjoying talking to him. I thought she just couldn't get rid of him.

Out side of our front door there is an abgel and a little rock that reads " Rejoice in The Lord". What must this flustered young man have thought? Did I ruin his day? I haven't done anything like this for ever so long.

What a terrible witness I was. That was a terrible sin.
I went outside and looked up and down the street trying to find him to appoligise. I looked several times that night and the next day. I could not right my wrong.

Sometimes we only get one chance. Do I sin, yes. Do I wish I didn't, do I try to right the wrong as soon as I recognise my mistake (sin), yes. Did that man go away with a bad feeling about this Christian, I am afraid so.

I pray I will run into him again and have the chance to appoligise. I need to be more careful still, do you?

May God give us all the wisdom, grace, tollerance and patience so that we may always be a gentle person to all those we meet, give us strength in all other areas of our life that we may live as He wants us to, and forgive us when we fail, in Jesus name, Amen.

May God give you a wonderous day without a single failure, filled with joy !:)!

Love in Jesus Christ
brother Gary

Thanks for sharing that with us brother Gray. God wants us to be pure and perfect without any sin. We can not be pure alone that is why we need Jesus to have His way in us. God bless

Hi Gary. You have been so very honest about your little hick up, life can test us and sometimes we do get angry at things. But yes its true that showing a loving and peaceful nature not only helps us, but others learn to like and love you for your gentle nature. Maybe God is showing you not to jump so quickly at people, and I myself sense that you are becoming more sensitive in your outlook. I love a polite person, because manners cost nothing, but i do know that sometimes out siders can be cheeky, I think its best to treat people with a little smile and politeness even if they annoy us! Hope this helps. from Mandy xx Keep Smiling!
