Why is it fire? I understand separation from God is torment because peace does not exist without God, it simply cannot so any place separated from the source of all good is bad. But why fire? Is there significance to that? Is that what the enemy chose?

Maybe fire has some sort of significance? Like, I don't know, burning up your tie with God or something? That is a really interesting question.
