I have 2 churches, one online from Chicago & I'm in SoCal and my local church 4 miles up the street. Rn I don't attend in person bc I'm tending to 7 3wk old puppies. After I find them their furever homes, I will be attending in person. And yes I miss the in person worship and greetings.
Most congregations I've attended have a lot of friendly, loving people; however, they all adhere one or more blatantly false teaching. I wouldn't have a problem if it were simply some members who individually held these beliefs, but the denomination itself enshrines these false teachings in their official doctrine. The fact that they are denominational factions at all is against them.
I realize there are better groups out there, but in the small town where I live there are few options, and they're all some kind of traditional, institutional denomination.
That's why I don't attend.

Welcome, Churchgoer. I attend weekly services at the local Calvary Chapel.
May God help you to find a good biblical church to attend.
Start from small churches, might be better.
My local church is independent, and teaching is good.
when Bible tells us do not stop gathering, shouldn't we make every effort to gather with believers face to face? Worship, serve the Lord together?
There is no church around that you can agree for the most part?
For minor stuff, I can let go.
Not a lot of choices for starters. I got shingles last October and found out I have an elevated PSA. I declined a biopsy, so I don't get around much these past 8 months. One day at a time, I'm in the Lord's hands. I can handle minor doctrine issues, but there are some things I can't ignore. I studied it and prayed about it, but I don't see 'churches' in scripture where you stare at the back of another's head, while a man, with titles, teaches us the things he was taught. I'd be best off in gatherings, I crave that. The churches in Acts are where we should be. Sadly, I don't personally know anyone who even reads the bible.
Gathering with believers are wonderful. Usually once you get familiar with a church (local gathering), you can find small groups to fellowship together, talking face to face. Study Bible together is the best. Serve together.
I usually do attend church. The times I do not usually involve scheduling conflicts where someone else wants/needs me on a Sunday morning. But even if I miss a Sunday morning service I tend to make one or two church group bible studies every week, a men's bible study breakfast one morning and an evening one evening most weeks in which we are reading through the entire Bible and discussing that week's reading. Most people are busy enough themselves during the week that they do not bother me on weekdays with special occasion/tasks.
Yes. Monday is my day off, and I would prefer a home group rather than a church

. To find a good biblical group.I personally like small church gatherings. Just 50 people or 40 people. We know each other's faith walk, iron sharpen iron. We reach out to the seekers, bring Gospel to them. We serve the old and young, teach God's word to the next generation. We support each other for needs. We hold each other accountable base on scripture teaching.
No right or wrong answer eh? Sounds like the right answer is I attend an assembly and the wrong answer is I don't. Figures.
The alternative is to finish the New Testament gain integrity and work ethic and find a girlfriend.
