That's like saying "All publicity is good". Not necessarily. And objectively all news in NOT positive. You have simply put a spin on that.

What can fairly be stated is that the news media do not publish all the positive things that happen daily. They pick only what is most sensational and that is all negative. Why do they report only murders and killings but never report when someone is brought to justice? Of course the justice system has been corrupted, so nowadays they cannot even report that.

But the Good News -- the Gospel -- is still the power of God unto salvation, and that is the only news that matters.
Yes that is true. All news is not good for those who are not saved and who have not been called according to purpose.

From the article:

Isaac Stein is one of them. Normally, he's a lawyer for the IRS who writes tax regulations. But on a sunny Sunday afternoon on a corner in his Washington, D.C., neighborhood, he's wearing a suit and tie, working his hot dog stand, "Shysters Dogs." Its motto: "the only honest ripoff in DC."

"I am having a grand old time slinging hot dogs," Stein said.

A hot dog and a drink runs $10 or $17, with a bag of chips tossed in if you buy two dogs.

Whoa Nelly! $10 or $17 IS a ripoff! A Sabrett's or Nathan's hotdog in NYC doesn't cost as much!

But I'm glad he found a way to keep paying the bills while this furlough goes on. 😊

A Montana man donated his $21.6M ranch instead of selling it — and more ranchers may do the same

"

Montana ranchers Dale and Janet Veseth recently opted to donate their 38,000-acre ranch in Phillips County, Montana, rather than see it fall into outside hands.

Veseth, 63, had dedicated decades to stewarding the land, passed down to him through his father and grandfather. The operation is known as Veseth Cattle Co.

“Every time that land comes out of agriculture, it’s just a struggle to get it back,” Shipp said.

Veseth has said wants to see his family’s land continue producing under future ranchers, especially those who lack the abundance of capital necessary to buy land and afford the labour necessary to maintain it.

“It’s not going to be something that becomes condos or becomes a hunting property exclusively,” Shipp said. “Bar none, it’s going to stay in production agriculture.”

Personally I got to the point with the news as being more propaganda than news, so I never watch any news anymore it's not a need I have in my life. Life was much better when news was a 30 minute event in the morning and evening. The 24 hour propaganda machine destroyed real news.

I hear you. MTV shut down after 30+ years with the same song they started with "Video killed the radio star".
They became the thing you mentioned, from a music channel to a gossip/trash channel with dumb shows. Where is the music bro? It says MUSIC TELEVISION in your title!

So when you're faced with "white noise" as i call it, it's best to see it as entertainment at that point because true journalists are rare to find.

The Lord said "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks". So even though it is propaganda it is revealing as to what is in their heart and how they are trying to manipulate you.

I kinda see this as more of an addiction to be honest.
People want to be liked and acknowledged by the world so they want ratings. They're not at peace with themselves and with God ultimately. A person in a farm working the land is not interested with Ratings for example.

So these people in the digital age are addicted to ratings. They want to produce shocking things so they can be 'seen'.

They trained the channels to pursue views, likes, comments and subscriptions. Then they train AI to do the same based on the success of those who are most successful. They do this because if you can do that then you can manipulate people. Later those channels will be replaced by AI that they trained, AI understands the goal is views, likes, comments and subscriptions and will lie to get those. This is precisely how the deep state got control of legacy media and it is how they will get control of the internet.

In general i agree with this view. This is what a totalitarian state does, and i know what that's like because i have lived in one.
However, even a totalitarian state or an "ai" which controls the information flow, will never ever kill the free human spirit. You will have casualties in the form of zombies from the system i agree, but "ai" will never win.

Because during the cold war, many people risked their lives to escape the totalitarian regime. Some died in the process and some escaped. Those who remained inside knew that this is the game you have to play for now, so that meant that they weren't under the control of the system, they were playing along and waiting it out until the system passed.

True, but they will kill the internet as a source of news, the gospel and truth. If they tried to do that right now you would see the massive response we saw during the pandemic. But if they do this after the rapture, it will be a very different story.

One other thing i thought of, which may or may not be related, it the process of transition which is related to your worldwide covid shutdowns point.

If you try to do something cold-turkey or overnight, it may have unintended consequences. There are always pros and cons for everything that's why you have to think deep and hard before an action but the experience of the end of the cold war for many was a bittersweet moment. The reason for that is that the country or countries went from a totalitarian regime to a chaotic/anarchy regime almost overnight. From one extreme onto another basically. That's why it's best to let these changes occur naturally once they have run their course. That's the best way humanity learns ... usually. The cost for this is great but turning an area from communism into anarchy is not a good outcome either.
This is why we should never go and liberate North Korea. Those people there are hypnotized by the system, the ones who can't think for themselves basically. And in numbers those are in the millions. This is also why liberating Iraq or any system which is under the heavy influence of a dictator or a regime, will usually produce a chaotic situation afterwards.

So the overnight covid shutdowns, produced a similar effect. As they say, history always repeats itself.

@ZNP i didn't know where to put this so i'm putting it here, but i'm sure you've heard of the Minnesota fraud case in the news.

Top health policy expert calls Minnesota fraud 'disgusting,' warns Obamacare issues are nationwide

This talks about the corruption that DODGE found, especially on the international scale.
I saw a movie about this very topic (corruption at the highest levels) last night called "Backstabbing for beginners" which i wanted to recommend because you might enjoy it.

It's a true story about the corruption at the U.N. before the Iraq war and it essentially talks about Idealism and the Lesser of 2 Evil topics.

I liked the movie because it was well made.
