The only reasons God is blessing you is simply for you to help grow his work on earth.
Though God did not give you billions of dollars, but the little He tested you with, how have you made Him proud?

So many of us don't see the need to pay tithe, but do you know that the essence of paying tithes is to promote the work of God?

Malachi 3:10a Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.
your Tithe is meant;
1.to feed the poor and the needy in the church and it environs and
2.For the provision of logistics for Missionaries. Have you seen how missionaries are suffering on daily bases because we are not faithful with our tithes!

BENEFIT OF TITHING
1. Heaven will celebrate you when your tithe is used for winning souls. Luke 15:10

2. Are you barren? You don't have to pray much, just pay your tithe “Then all the nations will call you blessed... Malachi 3:12

3. He will restore your health. Malachi 3:11

4. He will settle all your struggles (financial, work related, business, marriage) and so on. Malachi 3:10

If you are paying your tithes and you have not benefited from the Benefit of Tithing listed above;

Go into a "One Hour With God" at exactly 12:00am every night for three days, challenge God, put Him in remembrance, you will see God's miracle. Believe it or not, just try it.

If you have not been paying your tithe, it is not too late, you can start now. All the ones you have not been paying is not a debt because God has forgiven you. A new page will be written.

Why should God bless me?

He shouldn't but out of His abundant agape love and mercy He does.

His blessings aren't a bribe but a Gift of grace.

We do good and glorify God NOT because it's to repay Him for His blessings but because we seek to share His love with others so that they might heal and grow strong in Him also,
 
Just read the OP...very legalistic and unbiblical eisegesis.

God isn't a stock exchanger.,,you don't "invest" in order to receive "blessings"

This sounds a lot like the false "sow your seed to reap your earthly rewards" "name it and claim it" false doctrine.

Which means it's time for me to exit stage left.

And what about being blessed because we are sons and daughters of the Most High and He is a good Father?

And also, who has looked up the meaning of the word blessed as Jesus said in the Beatitudes, it's mind blowing.

I have got to say my spirit is not cool with this.
I don't think God bribes us.
The reasons for Him blessing us are not limited in the fashion expressed.
This is a very limited view of God.

Perhaps the main reason the Lord blesses us is that he loves us.
 
He blesses me because I am His child. And He wants to have me know him as The Blesser.

He blesses me because He knows that the blessings change me (esp. when I do not deserve them).

He blesses me because Jesus through his blood shed purchased all the blessings for me. He was the One who was obedient and righteous (on my behalf).

Got to disagree. Does a parent only love a child to teach the child to grow and make money to take care of the parent? Nope. A child is someone to love and enjoy.

God loves me, even when I stumble. He loves me, even when I wander off to pet a skunk. He loves me even when I make mud pies. He loves me when I run to his arms. He loves me because he chose to love me.

What I do in return is out of love back. Not out of forcing God to bless me. God is not a gumball machine where you put in a penny and count how many gumballs you get in return. He is God! I need him. He does not need me.

And yet, he chose to love me enough to adopt me.

this is written specifically to Israel & Judah, but isn't a principle revealed?

yes, out of His love, He blesses us - that undeserving, but by His grace - and for the purpose that His grace should be made known, so that He is glorified, so that by the mercy shown to us mercy will be shown to others - because all are disobedient, therefore all blessing is mercy: therefore His blessing glorifies Himself in His lovingkindness towards mankind!

the goodness of creation glorifies the Creator; as it is blessed, He is blessed, who first blessed. no 'tenth' was ever given to the Levites except out of what was first received from Him

tithing is expensive.......................... the pastors already all got more money than me forreal forreal.......... ima do it once i get a good target n some dough

So my question is what are the consequences of not tithing? Is a person ostracized from
salvation? Does God love us but only conditionally? Does God bless us but only if we pay
the correct amount. And what happens to the 2 commandments of Jesus? Love the Lord
your God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself, Love fulfils all the law. Is that
now stricken and replaced with tithing as the only entrance to eternal life? I'm not sure
but it seems hard to believe that this is the Good News Jesus meant.

tithing is part of loving God for sure my friend............ and u get urself a blessing sow now a seed and reap rewards later havent u watched christian television??????? now where my mansion at doe?
 
Tithe is not the only assurance to receive the blessings. The sun shine for all of us, whether sinners or not, and it also rains for all of us. Irrespective of who you are, you will receive your blessings. But the most important blessing is to receive eternal life.

A. Have you tried that same argument on a doctor? "Look, you make more money than I do, so I don't have to pay you." And if you have, how did that work out for you? Because really? Doesn't the pastor deserve his pay?

B. Since when is tithing to pastors? Give God 10% of what he gives you. How you do that is up to you, but you really sound like you just don't want to.

i dont belong to no church so im not using their services u see..... if i was part of a church on the books id be tithing
 
Lol...I like your honesty. So who are we to Judge or condemn you...for Jesus never condemned us but died on the cross, for our sins to be forgiven.
