WHY SHOULD GOD BLESS ME

I feel abundantly blessed, because Jesus died for me, way before I was born!

The only reasons God is blessing you is simply for you to help grow his work on earth.
Though God did not give you billions of dollars, but the little He tested you with, how have you made Him proud?

So many of us don't see the need to pay tithe, but do you know that the essence of paying tithes is to promote the work of God?

Malachi 3:10a Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.
your Tithe is meant;
1.to feed the poor and the needy in the church and it environs and
2.For the provision of logistics for Missionaries. Have you seen how missionaries are suffering on daily bases because we are not faithful with our tithes!

BENEFIT OF TITHING
1. Heaven will celebrate you when your tithe is used for winning souls. Luke 15:10

2. Are you barren? You don't have to pray much, just pay your tithe “Then all the nations will call you blessed... Malachi 3:12

3. He will restore your health. Malachi 3:11

4. He will settle all your struggles (financial, work related, business, marriage) and so on. Malachi 3:10

If you are paying your tithes and you have not benefited from the Benefit of Tithing listed above;

Go into a "One Hour With God" at exactly 12:00am every night for three days, challenge God, put Him in remembrance, you will see God's miracle. Believe it or not, just try it.

If you have not been paying your tithe, it is not too late, you can start now. All the ones you have not been paying is not a debt because God has forgiven you. A new page will be written.

How have I made Him proud? He loves me. And He is proud of me. Nothing I do will ever change that. Don't believe me? Read the bible.

There is nothing in our Covenant with God that binds us to tithe. As I have said in other posts though, Though tithing is not mandatory in our covenant, the principle of tithing still is in effect, still works in our favor. So...We do not have to tithe but really? Can we afford not to tithe? No.
But Synergy. Don't ever try to force it onto me. Not your place and you're not right in this belief either. I tithe. Why? I do not have to. Its not mandated for born again Christians to tithe. But I tithe because I choose to tithe. I give offerings too. Why? I love to give. The principle of tithing works out to "Tithing is the key to blessings" Because I give to the Lord, He gives to me multiplied. I get back more than I give. Now I have more to give, so I give more and God gives back to me multiplied...You cannot outgive God, but I sure have fun trying.

I have always been poor, even when employed. I tithed in different ways, like being there for someone...either for food, conversation, or duties...what money I did have, I gave to those that needed help more than myself...giving up self desire of spending it on myself.

B. Since when is tithing to pastors? Give God 10% of what he gives you. How you do that is up to you, but you really sound like you just don't want to.

the tithe under the Law went to support the Levites and to support the poor, both of which classes had no means to support themselves.

who is 'the priestly class' in Christ? it's certainly not just pastors and missionaries: aren't we all being made into a kingdom of priests?

and the poor - don't we always have them with us?

not to say 'don't help support the operations of your local congregation' or anything, or to say 'Christians are under some kind of tithing law' -- but to say "amen!" to the point that the purpose of our giving isn't the salary of person who stands behind a pulpit every week. that person is not the new covenant equivalent of the tribe of Levi.

If you are going to tithe, ask God where you should put it. Biblically you tithe to where you are fed. Most churches, by my experience, do not feed the flocks. That's only my experience though. So ask God where He wants you to put the money then put it there. Pray over it before and as you give it too. Since God WILL give to you as well, why not name the thing you would like Him to give you. He's your daddy. And He loves to make you happy. He can, does, and will answer your prayers concerning it.

hehe that's so beautiful in truth it's beautiful in simplicity. God loves us so much that even when we royally mess up, He's still there like any loving parent would be with a handkerchief ready to wipe your face clean and let you go on. That goes for those that tithe and those that don't. ❤

I think this is just the one mistake some Christian makes, tithe is not for the pastors, neither is is meant to build mansions all in the name of church or buy private jets. Though some pastors now use tithe for personal gains. Where as, tithe is supposed to be for the benefit of those who are poor and in need... See also for soul winning.

Tithe is a commandment directly from God to His children,

Are you God's children?
What did God say about obedience?

Have u forgotten in Malachi that God tagged those who refuses to pay tithes/offerings as "Robbers"


Malachi 3:8 "Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. "But you ask, 'How are we robbing you?' "In tithes and offerings.

... I believe it is stated in your Bible exactly this way, why then do you argue. You are not faithful in paying your tithes/offerings does not mean you would change the Bible. Out rightly, nobody can!

But in case anyone in here has a version of the Bible contrary to what NIV is talking about, please don't hesitate to share.
