Life is precious and you were born with a purpose, though it might not seem like it right now because of were you are, there is hope and light and the end of the tunnel, i may not know you but one thing i do know is you are suffering and need a way out, seems life just can't get any worse but trust me when i say there is a way and a hope, even Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

God specializes and miracles and making all things new, the cross was a key for countless people to be saved and given a future and a hope as children of God and Disciples of Jesus Christ.

God desires to have you, he desires your love and he desires you in his family, he can fix your wounds and heal your broken heart, piece by piece, the question is will you let him in?

but we can always hope they will be shown mercy right? what if we can save their souls even when they do it just by praying for them to be shown mercy?

this is a really sencitive subject to many people, so
I say now i do not want to offend, I always say our father
Sees the heart but we do need to start walking and do less talking
But with this subject I do believe that murder is a sin that we should not commit
Our spirit fights against our flesh in order to speak to us for our ears, eyes and hearts are open,
So I supose that christians can commit suicide depending on how strong there flesh is
But I do believe that murder is a sin but remember that once your dead you cannot repent
So maybe in those last breathes there is hope and an asking for forgiveness
So like I say it intirerly depends whether you call out to our father in time
This is just a paragraph of what I'm thinking at this moment but only god knows the truth remember
He does say you will be suprised who is in heaven and who isn't

I believe that some may may do this and not be in their right mind, if they dont know what they are doing or understand, I believe God isn't going to hold them accountable, mental illness is a real disease like any other disease

well its a sad thing, plus it will make familys sad & your friends would miss you. I had one of My Antie that did that...her family, Kids & myself were all very unsad. if she would of gotten help or just call someone for help..she WOULd be Alive TODAY. Greetings Blain, First of all, I would like to ask if you ever heard from that fellow who had told you he was going to commit suicide? Many others and I in this forum have been praying for him.

And to respond to your current response, Yes, we can always certainly hope that they will be shown mercy. However, we cannot save anyone through mere prayer for them. Salvation is only for Jesus to give unto another who has come requesting it of Him. And we know, Biblically speaking, that no one can be saved unless they become Born Again in Jesus Christ. That is, they need to say the prayer to become Born Again with the elements contained in the Holy Bible.

The reason we cannot just pray for someone to be saved, although it may certainly help them in other ways, is that it takes Personal Commitment to become saved. A person has to personally come to God in prayer and let Him know that they Believe that Jesus Christ is LORD as well as to acknowledge other things. No one can take that person's place such as to do that. No one. That is why praying for someone else's salvation, while a good thought, would not ever be the same as the person making an effort to Save themselves. For one thing, we do not know if they would be spiritually ready to accept Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior even if they believed in being saved. Likewise, we would not know if they believed that God arose Jesus on the third day after He was buried (the resurrection). We could not possibly speak for another person in this regard.

That is why people have a Great Opportunity to become BORN AGAIN NOW and become Saved, while there is still time. Once they are dying and ready to go to their judgment, if they do not repent and become Born Again at that very moment, according to the Bible they are Not Saved. Many will not be able to speak at that point or make that commitment out loud as is required. Moral to this is Do Not Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do TODAY! Because you never know if you will even wake up the next morning or pass-on during the night without being saved. It's better to be Safe than sorry! And all it takes is a simple prayer to be said aloud that guarantees one's salvation. What a small price to pay for the guarantee of Eternity in Heaven with Jesus Christ!

Therefore, we can certainly pray that a person be LED to pray for their own salvation but our prayers cannot do it for them or save them without their personal commitment to their own salvation so they can personally give an account to God of their BELIEF in Jesus Christ and that they PERSONALLY accept Him as their LORD and Savior.

Notice what the Bible says about this matter.

"He that believeth on Him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the ONLY begotten Son of God." -- JOHN 3:18 (KJV)

The KEY words here are ".... because HE hath not believed ....". That is saying They Personally have to Believe, not someone else do it for them.

Now take note of the fact that Jesus also does not give another the authority or permission to pray for another person's salvation. They must make that commitment for themselves.

In saying that " .... a man be born again ...." He is telling that man (or woman) to take personal responsibility for their own salvation and to reach out to Him in order to be saved.

I think it is wonderful for others to want to intervene so that a person whose life is imperiled can be saved however, they cannot save it for another. Even the angels in Heaven cannot interfere with a person's Free Will choice and for that matter neither does God as it is He who gave people Free Will in the first place thus, in most cases allows them to make their own decisions in life for better or for worse.
