Why the Gap Theory is unacceptable

Yet when you say species, the classification of a species is not an accurate method for the calculating the number of different kinds of living creatures that might have originally existed. The true method is based upon the ability of cell fusion to occur to determine the lineage.

For example, a lion and a tiger are different species but are of the same genus.

LION
Family: Felidae
Genus: Panthera
Species: Panthera leo

TIGER
Family: Felidae
Genus: Panthera
Species: Panthera tigris

While cell fusion would allow them to reproduce, they would produce a different species yet since they are not geographically situated in the wild they do not exist in the wild. However, ligers know to exist are those born in captivity. Ligers and tigons are not a products of evolution but rather procreation.

This is not "literature" but Divine revelation. Who else but God Himself could have told us that the Word was God the Creator as well as the Light of all men? John was merely the "scribe" and God was the Author.
 
I was being told my hermeneutics were bad. I didn't know what the word meant. I was given the definition and the parameters, one of which was: what kind of literature is it? So I asked the man what kind of literature it was in the beginning of john. His answer was: you are asking the wrong question. So...you would have had to follow the posts I guess. ;)

One can only qualify in GEN 1:1 that God was there prior to the beginning.

as in John 1:1 ..."In the Beginning, there was the WORD....." Here again we see that the 'WORD' there prior to the Beginning.



As you can tell, I am not a Genesis - Gap Theory.
