Read the scriptures first. Some prophets also killed, but they had been glorified by God for that. Paul also burnt alive sinners, still he is a founder of churches.
Satan kills his victims for sake of purely satanic antichristian idea - like communist global atheist movement was.
Roman church never declared idea satanic ideology, and never was wholly subdued to whatsoever state.
Rome is destined to be last fortress of christianity, since Jesuse gave such prediction to Peter (first bishop of Rome) that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Mathew 16:18).
Slandering Roman church you do follow satanic will.
Because Catholics who worship Trinity as God and Jesus as Deity, still are christians.
While many protestants (who doubt if Trinity is God, and reject Divine nature of Jesus) are not christians at all!!!

Stalin was never tought by catholics!!! He attended Georgian seminary in Tbilisy. Georgian church is orthodox one and never was a branch of whatsoever catholic organisation. It is independent from Rome institution. And Joseph Jugashvily (Stalin) was expelled from that seminary.

Maybe I was thinking of hitler and pol pot? But to many of us protestants we dont see a difference in these groups.
I am not catholic (I am an orthodox), and I never agree with lie.
The last pope will be our prophet and a witness of Lord (not a beast niether antichrist).

No Mitspa he is half right as the pope will be the false prophet or second beast of Revelation 13 who follows the antichrist. How else will many of people who are Christians get deceived to follow the antichrist, they would have to be following a major religious leader. And no religious leader has had more influence in the world then the pope.

The last pope will be a true Elijah prophet and witness of revelation. And Enoch will be with him.
And Vatican will be a last official institution and state opposing to the antichrist and false prophet.
True christians out of protestants will follow the pope and reject bowing to the beast.

Look I was in the Catholic church for 5 years and took their RCIA classes, and I left after only five years because of the unbiblical teaching they do.
Do you know that the Catholic church has a prophetic document that they themselves believe a final pope will be the false prophet.
I did not even think this way until I was shown this teaching by the Catholic priest who taught the classes. I was shocked to see in their own studies they believe this, and then when I got into more prophetic teachings I saw the area in which the antichrist rises from and how it corresponds to past history.
his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance,

Well, this pope that we have today, seem like a very good pope that we ever have had in the past. He is breaking boundaries.
Leaving the OP aside, as I really dont believe this is a prophecy fulfillment nor that it is throne of the devil, but that sculpture is disturbing.
The shapes are thorny, distressed, protruding in torment, but there is no proper antithesis, or door out of evil. The supposed Jesus in the center does not look familiar. Look at the threatening carving, pose and facial features. He is one with the trees, as if he was possessed with the disturbia. Look at the featured figure from a halfprofile. Looks like a screaming devil, especially his face. It's easy to see why people are startled. The lovingkind and innocent nature of Jesus would have shown even in distress... I am kinda sad that so much work and probably honest devotion has been spent into this. I dont know if the intent was evil, I wouldnt want to claim that. But I wouldnt want to be near this either, sorry. Just me though...
