Rom 8:1-4 the law was weakened by the flesh so Christ condemned sin in the flesh "so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us..." full stop, the 'righteous standard of the law is your death because of the sin in your flesh but Rom 8:10 But your body is dead because of sin, if Christ is in you. These are those who set their minds on things of the Spirit, and the mind of the Spirit is life and peace (Rom 8:5-6).
