First ,let me explain what the tree of knowledge of good and evil really is and was in the first place. The fruit that it bared did not contain the knowledge of good and evil, but rather was a key to unlock their minds, and make them aware of good and evil ,and of themselves, The flesh. God knew from the start that the flesh would be weak., not the spirit he put in Adam and Eve. that is why Jesus said the flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing. The flesh of man is like any other living thing on earth. it desires to be fed, pleased, and satisfied. It hungers. God knew that as long as Adam And Eve stayed in the original state of mind,and unaware, that they would be free of death. Only did death enter when they ate the fruit.,and then sin came into the world. their desires were their own. No longer God's desire for them. that was the knowledge of good and evil. ,not Satan's influence. Satan known as Lucifer at the time had his own throne and his own Angels, which was set up by God in Heaven. His throne was just below God's throne, between where the clouds start and darkness begin. he was not happy being in heaven in that location. He began to think,and that is where his pride set in. he declared that he wanted his throne to be above Gods throne. he did not want all of heaven, but he did want be on the north side of heaven next to God and share the power. not permitted by God, now the war begins Satan and his Angels and God's mighty warrior Angel with his army, Michael. Lucifer and his angels were defeated. God labeled him satan, meaning his adversary ,his enemy. That old serpent ,the devil name came after he deceived the whole

His intentions is to keep man that way. he was able to influence every flesh except the flesh of Jesus. and that is when he realized that a change was about to come. God's plan to get us back in that original state of mind. put off the flesh, and walk in the spirit. That is why Jesus said that God seek after those that will worship him in truth and spirit. not by the flesh., because the flesh lust after the things of the world.
